The house is built on pills out in the water, between the Mangrove trees, and from your patio you can follow the tides going up and down 2 times a day. The house is located in a small fishing village, where everybody is fishing. We can arrange tours with private Longtail on the Bay to James Bond Island and Koh Panyee, or you can take one of our canoes and sail a tour around in the Mangroves. We can also take you to Samet Nangshe Viewpoint or to one of the famous temples in our area.

【Teshima’s Ocean View Retreat Tokuto】King Villa

Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.

We offer free sake tasting, or tea and sweets. Local people also visit on weekends. Two major shrines are within walking distance. Tsurugi and Nomachi Stations are 30 minutes apart by train. Kanazawa Station is 40–50 minutes from Tsurugi, with a transfer.
