Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ashe County

Enjoyed everything provided from firewood, hygiene supplies, board games and even a basket of fruit. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen made for a good baking activity! Very quiet and peaceful at night.

This was our second time staying at Megan‘s place. It’s beautiful, cozy and a pristine location in the mountains above Boone with easy access to Boone, Blowing Rock, and surrounding areas. The accommodations are comfy, the amenities plentiful, and that mountain stream water tastes SO good. We hope to come back again some time.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway then this is the place to go. The scenery was beautiful and made you feel at peace. I would highly recommend staying at the Buffalo Bungalow and we will definitely be going back! Also the host were very friendly and when we had an issue with the tv they fixed it right away.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house! It is the most well kept and stocked Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We had everything we needed and more. Plus the beautiful creek and surroundings made for a great stay!

We’d loved staying at Brenna’s place! The hot tub and heated floors in the bathroom were a hit for the adults, and the toys were a huge hit for my toddler! We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Alex place was exactly as described. Clean, spacious, quiet and large enough to accommodate my family celebrating my daughter’s graduation. In addition, they allowed us a later check out since they did not have other guests checking in that day. We enjoyed the sunrise/sunset on their extended patio. Hot tub was a plus. Everything was perfect!

My husband and I stayed for a month at the house and absolutely loved it. It was peaceful and beautiful with the music of a rushing streamf filling the house everyday when we opened up the French doors. It was refreshing to see that the house actually matched all of the photos and the amenities that were listed. It was great to have a grocery store and a restaurant within 15 minutes of the house. we loved it so much. we're going to come back again next year.

It is very cozy for a short stay. It is about 14 minutes to Grandfather Mountain. Great communicating with Amy prior arrival, she greeted us at the entrance.

The Blue Mountain Apartment was absolutely perfect for my weekend at App State graduation! The apartment was extremely clean, organized, nicely decorated and stocked with everything I needed. I would highly recommend staying here if you want somewhere comfortable with a beautiful view for a peaceful getaway.

What to write in such a small space! Kevin and Susie are precious folks. We got in late on our first night and Kevin helped carry our things upstairs. And chatted with us for a bit. Susie had made some AMAZING cookies for us. We loved the space of the apartment. It was clean, cozy and just as the pictures portrayed. The bed was so comfortable!!! We will definitely be staying here again. Roan Mountain is our me favorite place and Kevin and Susie have the best place to enjoy it! Thanks for having us ♥️

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

Due to a mix-up, my daughter and I had to find a place to stay in Blowing Rock in a matter of hours. This beautiful place was available and the host could not have been more helpful and kind. Amazing customer experience! When we got to the house, it was adorable and the view was incredible. everything was absolutely smooth and perfect. I highly recommend this house both for the host and the space. We felt safe and right at home immediately.

Very pretty yard that is fully enclosed (front & back) which is great for bringing a dog. Our dog was quite happy we picked this home because he had other pups to visit with. The outside is very inviting, even though it rained a bit. They have areas that are covered, which are great for this. The inside is clean and neat. The bed was really comfortable and our son thoroughly enjoyed the air mattress. At the right time of year, the fireplace would be amazing. The location is great because it’s close enough to town to be convenient, and right by the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking.

A great stay during our quick trip to Boone. The cottage was perfect for us, very clean and inviting with lots of attention to detail. Our hosts were so responsive during our stay. If you’re looking for a cozy spot in Downtown Boone, this is it!

I stayed here for 5 nights and had an amazing time! The place was spotless and beautiful. I loved the quiet setting and screened in porch. Close to Grayson Highlands for hiking, also checked out Mount Jefferson and Paddy Mountain hiking areas- absolutely gorgeous. Popped into the Old Orchard Creek general store in Lansing and got a delicious scone & some gifts. There was an awesome craft fair on Saturday in Lansing also. Brunch at Oldhouse Goods/ Third Day Kitchen is highly recommended if you head into West Jefferson! Service is spotty in the area so download maps before you go. WiFi at the house is great, plus there’s a landline phone for emergencies which eased my mind. Overall loved my time here!

A friend and I stayed for a long weekend while attending MerleFest. 30-40 minutes commute to the festival, but very easy. Went to West Jefferson one morning for lunch and shopping. The cabin was just as described. Would love to go back with my husband when the Rhododendron are blooming. So peaceful and beautiful.

My mom, sister, and I stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from ASU and this place was an amazing deal for the price! A giant TV in the living room AND bedroom, relaxing hot tub (define highlight after walking all day!), coffee bar, and even washer/dryer! All the wildflowers around d were so pretty, too! I highly suggest grabbing this place up before it’s taken!

My friend and I stayed here for a few nights after our camping trip and it was the perfect place to finish the week. The cabin was super clean and had a gorgeous view, it’s also close to some great hikes. Sheree communicated well and was very accommodating. We’d absolutely stay here again!

I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. The cabin is so peaceful and feels very secluded while still being accessible to the restaurants and shopping in Boone. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful with any questions, and there is full binder of suggestions for the area. There were nice little touches for anyone traveling with dogs as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin!

Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic stay! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. The place was very clean and neat. I felt right peaceful and at home staying here. The description for this cabin is on the mark. Clean, quite and comfortable with lots of wildlife. All three nights we saw lots of deer in the last 5 miles up the mountain to the cabin. We also saw wild turkey, racoons and a 5' long grass snake when we stopped to enjoy the river that runs up the side of the road. Really enjoyed sipping a beer on the front porch swing at night or enjoying a hot cup of coffee in the back sitting area overlooking the mountains edge. This is a perfect little get away.

Great place to stay! We loved the view and the space to spread out and enjoy our time!
