I absolutely loved my stay at the Jungle House! Laura was an incredible host - not only did she help me book my travel from Colombo to Arugam Bay (which I had NO idea how to do) but she even got up in the middle of the night when I finally arrived to help me with my luggage and get in my room. She truly made me feel right at home, and her space was beautiful, peaceful and had everything I needed. She gave me many recommendations on food, activities, etc, and each one was top notch. My stay in Arugam Bay wouldn’t have been the same without her 🙏🙏 Bonus points - she has yoga classes on the property and makes one of my favorite cappuccinos and fruit bowels in the area!

From May to September is the best time for Surfing at Arugambay. This resort is a recommendable place for solo travelers, Couples, Families or little groups. Rooms are separated from another. Well trained staff is always there to welcome and serve you.! Night life in here is really nice once it lit up.

5 star place, would recommend to anyone, its location is literally a 30 second walk from the beach and is close to all the bars and restaurants. The host is so nice and will answer any questions you have. Great value for money, cannot wait to go back!

Laura's place is quiet, yet a 5-minute walk away on the Mainroad. There's no Air Conditioning, but the wind makes for a good pull-through. The room and bath are wonderful and the balcony is a beautiful addition. Breakfast is available at 20% discount at Restaurant Riva del Sole. Everything great, a beautiful place with a great hostess.

We really enjoyed our stay at kadjan Villa and would definitely recommend it to others! We stayed in a room with air conditioning which was equipped with everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is very nice with some plants, half outside but sufficiently covered. There is a well equipped and clean shared kitchen which we used a lot. The surrounding area was very quiet so we were able to relax and the beach is right on the doorstep. The arugam bay main point, one of the best surf spots in the country, is also very close by. The team/family was extremely friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. They gave us tips for the local surf spots, helped us hire a tuktuk and cooked an evening meal for us. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

Super nice people who helped us with everything. We also booked a safari here, of course luck is part of it. But the safari was stunning. We saw a lot of leopards, so I recommend booking them right away.

A welcoming entrance to Indigo Summer Hostel is framed by wooden signage featuring waves and a sun. A motorcycle is parked off to the side, and natural fencing made of woven materials provides privacy to the entryway. Lush greenery surrounds the area.

This is a lovely little place just off the Main Street. The room was clean with lovely little decorations. The staff were so warm and friendly I can’t suggest this place enough Amazing little place THIS is the place to go in Arugambay
