Super Nice Staff! Rasa, the manager is super nice and helpful. Even told us where to find the wild elephants and came with us to see them. His food was very nice as well! We were there in off-season so only 2/3 cabanas were occupied. But even in high season there is only a maximum of 30~ people there he told us. Located directly at the beach we could see the sunrise from our bed in the open cabana. Would definitely recommend!

Hilltops was an amazing experience, especially after coming from the hectic A-Bay. Private beach, lovely staff, beautiful nature and healthy food - it’s been so nice staying here. Great place to slow down and enjoy some peace and quiet and relax!!

We had a perfect stay at Footprints.💗🦶 Actually I don't want to write anything as I hope and wish this place to stay secret 🤫... Get back to the elements with legendary cooking and good vibrations, dwelling in high frequency purity. Very thank full to just know places like this still exist. Feels like coming "ohm". Full of love and respect for source and the whole of existence. 🎶🎶🎶🌊🙏🫶

Sehr abgelegenes aber super schönes Resort. Beschilderung ab der Straße. Perfekt um abzuschalten und Ruhe zu genießen. Strand ist 1 Minute fußläufig entfernt.

Wir waren 4 Nächte im Kattu Cabana, ein offenes Stelzen Haus. Wenn man Lust auf eine besondere Erfahrung hat ist dieses Cabana optimal. Den Sonnenaufgang kann man aus dem Bett beobachtet. Hilltop bietet ein gemeinsames Abendessen aller Gäste an. Wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung dort gewesen zu sein.

Hvor skal vi starte! Anna og Nicola var de mest imødekommende, sødeste og mest hjælpfulde værter vi nogensinde har mødt. Min kæreste havde madforgiftning og Anna og Nicola hjalp med det samme med medicin og hjemmelavet kylling suppe som smagte fantastisk. Stedet er så smukt. De fineste detaljer og en utrolig ro som var lige hvad vi havde håbet på. Vi surfede med Anna tidlig morgen og eftermiddag som var så hyggeligt. Som at have fået en ven på ingen tid. Maden var så lækker og de har verdens bedste pizza. Det er super nemt at tage en tuktuk på Safari, surf eller ind til byen. Der er massere af gode restauranter i nærheden hvis man vil have lidt afveksling. Tak for jeres fantastiske gæstfrihed Anna og Nicola. Vi savner allerede stedet og jer :-) Best, Nanna og Søren

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, superfreundliche Gastgeber und auch das Personal ließ keine Wünsche offen! Im Restaurant gab es eine grosse Auswahl an leckeren Speisen, ein kostenfreier Wasserspender steht den Gästen ebenso zur Verfügung! Auch die Auswahl an Getränken war hervorragend, von Lime Soda über Bier, Hausgemachten Säften, Longdrinks und Cocktails alles da was das Herz begehrt…. Die Zimmer sind mit liebe eingerichtet, tiptop sauber und mit Klimaanlage sowie Ventilator, Safe und Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Direkt an das Grundstück angrenzend erwartet den Gast ein kilometerlanger wunderschöner Strand. Eine Wildlife Tour würden wir jedem der hier Urlaub macht dringend empfehlen, der Sunset mit Picknick auf dem Elephant Rock war sehr schön! Dringende Herzensempfehlung hier ein paar Tage zu verbringen (auch in der Nebensaison!!)

We loved to stay at „Stay Golden“ - the name says it all! A cute and tasteful family-run hotel where kids are more than welcome and have lots of fun things to do! There is heaps of love for details and the owners made everything possible for us to have the perfect stay. We highly recommend and will surely come back! Thank you Angie, Rihan and Rami! Thank you very much for the great time with you, dear Angie & Rihan & the entire team. We stayed at StayGolden for 2 nights in the low season and loved it. The entire facility is beautiful and well maintained. It's a magical path to the beach including a beautiful swing and beach loungers to relax on. We only ate at StayGolden because we enjoyed the great food and cocktails so much. There is a huge selection on the menu. Our room was beautifully furnished & super clean. We can only recommend the StayGolden. We'll definitely be happy to come back <3

Located in a quiet neighbourhood 15 minutes walk from main point - either along the beach for a refreshing morning stroll or through town. Irsath looked after us very well, helping us fight off the mosquitoes, arranging for transport hire, recommending nice local restaurants, and organising our travel onwards. A really diligent and nice guy. The place looks beautiful and when we were there - just before the high season started - it was very quiet. The room we stayed in was rustic as per the photos; it was clean, with a refreshing outdoor shower and a comfortable porch area complete with hammock. As for the area in general, there were many mosquitoes in mid-April when we visited—so soon after the rainy season. Since this is an open-air property, we recommend you load up on anti-mosquito sprays etc if staying here at this time. As noted, Irsath was very helpful in providing these for us.

Super nette Leute die uns bei allem geholfen haben. Wir haben hier auch eine Safari gebucht, natürlich gehört auch Glück dazu. Aber die Safari war atemberaubend. Wir haben jede Menge Leoparden gesehen, von daher empfehle ich auch diese gleich mitzubuchen.

We spent a week in Rihan's place in December and we loved the place. The rooms are very well maintained and clean, the location is great and close to one of the best surf points, and the food, ahhh the food is great, please try the sea food platter and the smoothies bowls. Rihan, Angie and staff are very well coming and makes you feel like home. We highly recommend Stay Golden for a long or short stay :)

Guitar Bay hotel is in a superb location in Arugum Bay it is in the quieter part of the town right on the beach with direct access to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.The swimming along this stretch of beach is safe and most enjoyable although the waves are consistent they are not very high.The rooms are large with ceiling fan,air conditioning and a most comfy King sized bed also a single bed is provided.The private en-suite bathroom has 3 showers! a toilet,handbasin,fan and is a large size also clean towels and bed linen when required.Also a veranda with a coupe of comfy chairs and table offering a view of the Ocean The hotel also had a guitar shaped pool which is clean and well maintained…well funky Mohammed the manager is amenable and helpful and can also help with tours Tuk Tuk hire etc.Got any problems he’s your man👍 I can recommend Beach Coral restaurant at top of entrance road for traditional,tasty,fresh Sri Lankan food at very reasonable prices👍 All in all highly recommended accommodation

Hello! We are really happy to stay here in this beautiful paradise. Our host, Cassim is so loving and committed. He tries to do everything to make our stay as nice as possible. He wants us to be happy and feel well. This accommodation is really perfectly located. You are near to the town but still it is very peaceful here. Moreover you just have an one minute walk to get to the (private) beach, at least it feels like this because in the off season there are just very few people but most of the time you are alone on this beautiful beach at the ocean! So you can do a lot of stuff around this place. Besides here is a big garden, in which you can perfectly relax, make a little fire, do some workouts and more. The Wi-Fi connection is not the best, but Cassim tries to change that. The accommodation is fully equiped. Here is all you need. Otherwise you just have to ask him. He is new on Airbnb, so be patient ;) He tries his best! Thank you for this great stay! 😊 We will come back!🌞

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner ici. Nos hôtes ont été d'une grande gentillesse, et très chaleureux. Nous cherchions un endroit où séjourner, et nous avons trouvé un endroit où vivre pleinement notre aventure. Ce logement est clairement une pépite, et les hôtes qui le font vivre, sont le coeur de ce lieu magique. Merci pour tout. Le meilleur de mes nombreux séjours sur AirBnb.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen .Die Villa ist architektonisch sehr gut gelungen und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Hausmeister Adam ist stets präsent bei jeglichen Anliegen. Er reinigt auch jeden Morgen die Wohnung. Der Strand is nur wenige Schritte entfernt sodass man nachts perfekt beim rauschen der Wellen einschlafen kann. Es gibt genügend sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten und Restaurants und Läden sind sehr gut zu fuss zu erreichen. Rüdiger und britta sind hervorragende und aufmerksame Gastgeber mit wertvollen tips.wir haben zusammen eine tolle Safari Tour erlebt. wir würden die Villa 100% weiterempfehlen.

Aslam is chill, we were his fiest Airbnb guests. The room with the AC was great, and Aslam is always looking for solutions, just ask! The address was slightly different then the one on Airbnb but nothing a tuktuk can not solve, ans maybe just ask again before
