We were visiting the area to work on our family farm near by and coming back each evening to sit on the front porch to watch the bison at sunset was exactly what we needed. Such a quiet, peaceful location and Mary was a wonderful host. We are looking forward to staying here again soon!

We had such a great time at Asa Creek Cottage in Sullivan. The house was clean, spacious, and really comfortable—perfect for our group of friends. It had everything we needed to unwind after a long day out on Lake Shelbyville. One of our favorite parts was the back deck overlooking the creek—super peaceful and a great spot to hang out. We also enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings. It made for a nice, laid-back end to each day. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax with friends and enjoy nature, this is a great spot. We’d definitely stay here again.

For a work stay it was exactly what I was looking for. Very surprised of the well decorated and newness of this "house within a pole barn". Once inside, you feel right at home. Easy to maintain and everything plus what you need. Will be staying again, hopefully for leisure !
