Our Shepherds Hut newly built in 2021 sleeps 2 people and nestles nicely into it's own private space just next to the house, which is in a gorgeous rural location in the heart of Snowdonia national park. This hut has electricity, central heating, and hot water making it a cosy and warm place to stay all year round. There is an outdoor firepit/BBQ with table and bench to sit and eat, where you can take in the beautiful view. It's a perfect location for keen walkers and popular area for cyclist's.

Shepherds Hut View

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

Erw Fair. Perfect for Couples, Log-fired Hot Tub

Nestled at the foot of Cader Idris overlooking the beautiful Mawddach estuary, Erw Fair is perfectly located for exploring southern Eryri (Snowdonia National Park. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms (one king, en suite and one twin) and would be perfect for couples looking for a quiet retreat. The cottage is within walking distance of the Mawddach Trail perfect for exploring this beautiful corner of North Wales. Barmouth is also 2.5 miles walk across the famous Barmouth Bridge.

Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s a 300 year old cottage on the side of a mountain, space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

Off Grid unique Panoramic Dome, sleeping 2 adults.Double bed, log burner & amazing views. As you enter your quirky dome, you’ll be tempted to dive into the double bed and devour those views! Escape to Snowdonia at Bryn Meurig Farmhouse. Right on the Wales Coast Path in the National Park, enjoy the best of both seaside and mountains. Set on a rural smallholding, with a few friendly farm animals overlooking the sea and in the foothills of Cader Idris. A 10 minute walk from Fairbourne with shops, pubs and it's narrow gauge steam railway, with bus and train services to take you to more local attractions in Barmouth, Dolgellau and Aberdovey.
