Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Artemonas

Giannis is a great host, fully responsive, friendly and polite. His recommendations noted on a map with places to go for swimming, dining and sightseeing were very helpful. He provided us with bottles of drinking water, coffee capsules and ingredients for breakfast. I really recommend the place if you are down for a private experience next to the centre of the island, with nice beaches around.

Margarita est une hôte très prévenante. Tout est prévu pour nous faire passer un excellent moment et la maison est fabuleuse ! Propre, très cosy et vraiment très bien située ! Margarita m'avait prévenue qu'à cette époque de l'année, de nombreuses tavernes seraient fermées mais on a eu la chance d'avoir la taverne du vassalia (la plus proche du logement) qui était ouverte et l'accueil était vraiment top ! Tous les conseils de visite du guide de Margarita sont également très précieux ! Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Merci beaucoup !

Maro's home is true to its name, an authentic Sifnian home in the peaceful town of Artemonas. Maro was easy to reach, and kindly organised a taxi to pick us up from the port and provided advice on ferries. Check in was v straightforward. A short walk into Artemonas takes you to some lovely restaurants and bakeries, and you can also walk further into the main island town of Apollonia for more life. The buses are great to see the other villages and to get to the beach, though in the shoulder season the schedule is more limited. The house is cool and comfortable with lots of interesting decorations/artefacts. We cooked at home without trouble, and made good use of the outdoor shower as the bathroom inside is quite small and poorly ventilated [it perhaps dries out quicker in the peak summer heat!]. We enjoyed the terrace but would say the steps up are a bit tricky and definitely not for the unsteady. Overall, it was easy to feel at home. We loved our week in Sifnos and would come back :)

The small town of Artemonas is delightful and The Be House is a perfect jumping-off point to explore it and the rest of the island. The apartment is very clean and very well-appointed with everything you could need for a short or long stay. They even have a deep fryer! Margarita and her husband ‘Bola’ are really sweet and helpful people, (and they run a fantastic restaurant in Vathy, which you should try), and we’re very responsive any time I had a question or needed anything. Overall the space was great and I would recommend it to single or couple travelers or perhaps a family w 1 young child. The property was simply amazing, right in the heart of Faros, our favourite part of Sifnos, it has a spectacular view, is extremely private and comfortable and couldn’t be better located. The apartment is really well renovated and looks amazing and had everything we needed, including a washing machine. You feel like you are living in the beautiful Aegean Sea when you look out your windows or sit on your balcony and the perfect waters and dramatic views are stunning. Giannis and Katerina were amazing hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed including baby cot and high chair. We even visitors them at their wonderful farm, saw their animals and traditional farming techniques and tried their beautiful hand made cheeses and wines. We couldn’t have had a better stay, Sifnos has become our new favourite island in Greece and Faros in particular is magical. We are already planning our next visit and will stay at this apartment again for sure. Not to be missed!

Love Sifnos and this apartment is fantastic. Great location and Anastasia was super helpful with helping to organise taxis and an additional clean. We had a problem with the door on arrival but she arranged for it to be fixed. Lovely place.

Our stay at this apartment in Sifnos was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how spotless and beautifully maintained the space was. The panoramic sea views from the balcony were simply breathtaking — we spent every morning and evening soaking them in. The location couldn’t have been better; just a short, scenic walk to fantastic local restaurants, cafes, and shops. Despite being so close to everything, the apartment felt peaceful and private. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful — they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every detail was taken care of, from helpful local tips to making sure we had everything we needed. This apartment is a true gem on Sifnos, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Greek island escape. A 10/10 experience in every way!

Wonderful stay as a family of four in Serifos, Great retreat, and had a dreamy week. YOU WILL NEED A VEHICLE IF TOU WANT TO GET ABOUT REGULARLY! Knowing this we booked a car and came and went happily and regularly. Good when it’s windy, lovely when the wind settles, all in all a cracking stay

The space is chic, thoughtfully designed, and perfect for sharing as both bedrooms are exactly the same. There are plenty of sinks, ample storage, and high-end finishes throughout. The cleaning crew is reliable and thorough. The pool and the long, live-edge wooden outdoor dining table made it a wonderful indoor/outdoor experience. Check in was easy as pie. If i built a house on this island i would use the architects and designers who worked on this dwelling: it was the best living space i saw in greece… and I’m a design snob. Highly recommend.

Spent 3 nights at this amazing property. Property was very chill with beautiful views. Antonis was very responsive and helped us with anything we needed including ordering a cake for a birthday dinner at the house. We really loved sifnos and this property and would love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the lighthouse hotel. The hotel is consisting of a couple of Apartments and has a really big Swimmingpool. It is very close to the village Faro, but better to have a car or take the bus to get there, since walking at the street could be dangerous. The apartment has a Kitchen, with a minimum of equipment to cook little things but it is not ideal if you want to cook or make breakfast regularly. Anyhow they also serve breakfast at the hotel. We stayed a few days and enjoyed the island a lot. It’s a calm and easy-going place and so is the hotel. Thanks Anthony for hosting us.

One of the most beautiful places we have stayed in the world - both villa and location. Taki was an incredible host, he met us at the villa and communication was great. We needed a break after a busy few working weeks in London and this was the perfect holiday to unwind and get some time out of the hustle and bustle. The island is still unspoilt by tourists but also has a very touristy feel with the choice of restaurants and cafes. Highly highly recommend this place. Will be back :)

Το κατάλυμα πληρεί όλες τις προϋποθέσεις. Είναι πολύ καθαρό και περιποιημένο με μεράκι και γούστο. Η περιοχή ήσυχη με εξαιρετική θέα και σημαντικό πλεονέκτημα η ιδιωτικότητα που σου προσφέρει. Ο Φραγκίσκος εξαιρετικός σε όλα και πάντα πρόθυμος να απαντήσει σε οποιαδήποτε ερώτηση και να καλύψει οποιαδήποτε ανάγκη. Σίγουρα θα επέλεγα ξανά αυτό το κατάλυμα για να κάνω ήρεμες και ξεκούραστες διακοπές.

WOW, our stay at this experience was simply amazing. We can’t thank the hosts enough for their amazing hospitality and recommendations. Gorgeous views with an incredible location walkable to both Apollonia and Kastro villages, the windmill is the perfect place to spend your time in Sifnos. We loved our time lounging by the pool, exploring the island, and making great memories. I cannot recommend this enough for travelers to Sifnos, it’s beautiful and fun!

Hôte réactive, logement atypique et tellement mignon. Nous regrettons déjà de partir. C’était un séjour dans un petit paradis où il y a personne. le logement est juste magnifique! Attire beaucoup l’œil des gens qui passent devant ou bronzent en bas sur la plage de goupa tellement cette maisonnette est et belle est bien soignée. Je recommande ce logement x1000

We loved staying at Niko's place. Such a beautiful property with so much rich history (his family has been living here for generations). The outdoor space was beautiful—we loved coming home at the end of the day watching the colors change as the sun set. The home's interior was also very carefully designed to retain its authentic appeal and looks just like in the photos. We appreciated Nikos's availability, and loved getting to know his adorable dog Bob! As a bonus (for cat lovers like us, at least) there is a sweet family of semi-feral kittens that loves to come visit. My only note would just be that the apartment has no air conditioning and does get quite hot inside when temperatures rise above 28/29 degrees C. Luckily for us it wasn't a problem as it was relatively cool the whole week, and the fans work well. Overall we had an amazing stay and hope to come back again in the future!

We really loved staying here. It was very peaceful and away from any roads surrounded by fields but a 15 minute walk into either town. (Uphill on the way back from Appollonia). Giannis made us very welcome, meeting us at the bus stop to show us in. He and his wife also invited us to enjoy some Church festivals which were a special experience for us. Artemonas has a mini market and bakeries and some lovely family run restaurants that we preferred to the more touristy ones in Appollonia. We used the buses to get around which were easy and cheap and reasonably regular . We downloaded the timetable and a 20 minute drive took us to some sandy quiet, tree lined beaches at Vathi or Faros. The veg garden at the apartment was dried out from lack of rain (none since February!) and we would love to return to see and enjoy it at another time of year. We had a lovely peaceful time staying here.

La grande terrasse donnant sur la montagne est très agréable. Anastasia est si accueillante, le raisin à l'arrivée et toujours disponible pour la moindre question. Je recommande fortement ce logement pour une étape authentique et paisible.

Alloggio bellissimo con una terrazza meravigliosa nel paese più bello e autentico di Serifos. La casa ha tutto il necessario, è molto pulita, ha uno spazio esterno bellissimo e molto godibile per prendere il sole al mattino, mangiare e godersi un po' di relax. Il paese è molto tranquillo, quello che ci vuole per staccare dalla vita di tutti i giorni ma nello stesso tempo molto vicino a tutte le spiagge e i paesi dell'isola. Franciscos molto gentile e accogliente, ogni giorno ci lasciava qualcosa dall'orto, un po' di frutta, pesce appena pescato.. Siamo stati benissimo! Un posto autentico che ti entra nel cuore. Torneremo per un periodo più lungo. Super consigliato.

Wow, what an incredible experience we had at Villa Kastro. Villa Kastro is set on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful waters - splendid view. It is quiet and picturesque. It is very close to Kastro - 1km walk where we ate at some of the best restaurants with incredible views. It is also close to the seven martyrs and two beaches, swimming holes that we swam at daily. The walk back up the hill can be tiring but that is why you also hire a car if you don’t want to walk and explore sifnos. Katerina was incredibly kind and helpful, welcoming us into Villa Kastro.
