Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Arroyo Seco

I've stayed in a lot of Airbnb's, but none brought peace, quiet, and coziness quite like this one. Our host, Justin was proactive and gave clear instructions so we never needed to contact him during our retreat at from the city. The casita is perfectly situated for us because we were splitting our time and adventures between Santa Fe, Taos, Abiquiu, and Ojo Caliente. I really appreciate the fact that the place is so energy efficient. Because of this it wasn't ever necessary to turn on the heat or air conditioning. Simply adjusting the window shades or letting air flow through the screen doors left us very comfortable. It was an enchanting home base to tuck into under the stars after a long day horseback riding. When Justin returned home to realize we purchased toilet paper, he apologized and offered to compensate us because his back up cleaner didn't restock it. Our host really went the extra mile to ensure we felt right at home. My wife and I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay! Is a bit outside of Taos, but wonderful for enjoying nature

We had a great stay at LInnah's place. It was roomy for 3 of us and the pull out couch was comfortable. Lots of local information on hand and a big kitchen. The location was good for excursions to both the river/gorge and the ski area. Thanks!

What a lovely, peaceful, immaculate home! The setting is quiet and serene, but the location is convenient to town, the Millicent Rogers Museum, and a wonderful grocery store and restaurants right in El Prado. There is no way pictures can do the house justice. There are stunning views in every direction, and they've done a beautiful job incorporating the architecture into the landscape. There are many little touches, like plentiful tissues and cosy throw blankets, to make you feel at home. It was also very clean, and that is not easy when the weather is dry and dusty. Our twenty-something kids absolutely loved the house, and it was perfect for our family. My husband and I would love to come back to spend some time rejuvenating. It's really a place that feeds the soul.

We are Airbnb regulars, and The Barn was one of the best we’ve stayed in to date! The home was very spacious for our group of 4, yet cozy and comfortable. It is in a serene location with wonderful outdoor space for relaxing and chatting (the river is a must!), yet only about 5-10 minutes from Taos shops and restaurants. We hiked every day, both in the Ski Valley and along the river gorge trails, and The Barn was an ideal location for all. Lesley went above and beyond to help us with both restaurant and hiking recommendations. Book now! You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I spent his 50th birthday at this cozy private and beautiful spot just outside of Taos, NM. We wanted chill, serene, nature, beauty, sunrises & sunsets with hot-tub and this place met that, but also exceeded our expectations. The whole construction of the house was built with intention and purpose. The host Melissa was there for us when we needed a couple questions answered and also provided us with spot on recommendations. We felt like we were taken care of the minute we got to our airbnb. We were able to enjoy Taos at our pace and have the most cozy and relaxing retreat like home to come home to everyday and rest and relax. The place was spotless clean and you could feel the fresh good energy there. Also perfect for any artist who likes to be creative. I felt like we found a gem and reason to continue to come back here to explore more of NM, but we want to stay here again - already planning our next trip! Thank you for such an amazing experience! If you like stargazing from the hot tub and a unique home with New Mexican flare, this is your spot. Plenty of room to stretch out and not a bad view anywhere. Even our angst-ridden teenagers were enamored with the surroundings. Dan is a fantastic host and I would come back any time. It went above and beyond the standard experience.

An amazing place to stay. You can’t beat the location! Large cottage with an incredible kitchen. It’s well stocked with everything you need. However it needs a refresh on glasses, cups, plates etc. The few there are chipped. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is large with great water pressure. The lounge is also large with a really cute gas fire place. I’d definitely stay here again! There was no flexibility on checking in early or out late.

Very cute casita and easy access to Taos or areas North. We stayed for two weeks and felt right at home; the bed was comfortable and ample amenities throughout. Page was a wonderful host.

This house is in a beautiful place tucked into a mountain community. Lovely view of the mountains with a space to be outside and enjoy the sun and the flowers. Peaceful, comfortable, and verdant.

Nathan and Taylor checked all the boxes for amazing hosts and then some! Directions were precise, communication was always prompt and the place was very welcoming. It has everything needed to enjoy your stay. The bike park is located a short distance away, no driving needed!! I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Angel Fire!

The condo is in a very quiet and peaceful area of town. It was roomy, comfortable and clean.

This is the second time my Fiancée and I have stayed at William & Denise's property, we absolutely love it! The proptery is charming, well-maintained and in a great location. The hot tub is amazing after a long day on the slopes. 5 out of 5 would recommend, we'll definitely be back!

Very cute place, just like the pictures. The area is quiet but close enough to walk to downtown Taos, though youll still probably need a car for things like grocery store and misc activities. The hosts were very responsive when I had a question. Make sure to read the “directions from host” as they clearly list how to find/get into the unit. We were provided some granola bars at check in which was a sweet and kind touch. I didn’t see shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, which was fine since I always pack my own but something to keep in mind if you don’t always travel with it. It was a lovely stay

We had a comfortable and convenient stay. Drives are within minutes, but you can as well easily walk to the cafes right down the street. We also easily cooked meals with all the convenience of the amenities within the home.

Immaculate and very nicely decorated! We enjoyed the gas fireplace at night, and the king bed in the bedroom was super comfortable. Wish we had more time to stay another night.
