Waking up to a sea view was a treat, but the real surprise was discovering a cupboard full of old board games and puzzles I remembered from my childhood. We had such fun playing together as a family. Long beach walks, friendly chats with locals — it all added to the charm. It’s not fancy, but it’s full of heart. A magical spot by the sea, perfect for making memories with the kids.

What a stunning location- uninterrupted views of the Main beach, the Harbour and Hotel - all within walking distance. The lovely housekeeper Doreen met us at the house on arrival and showed us around. The house has a well kitted kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were super comfortable and spotlessly clean - the braai area is in a lovely private courtyard at the back of the house. We had a wonderful stay and wished we could have stayed longer - we'd love to visit again soon.

We really enjoyed our one-night-stay at Warren's airbnb, it was even more charming in real-life. The perfect getaway spot where you can relax, regenerate and enjoy an historic home with a wonderful garden and a stunning history. Only 25 min away from Kap Agulhas. Warren is a wonderful, super friendly and proactive host. All the best!

Ive stayed at a quite a few places with the Family over the years however this one met our expectations above and beyond. From the moment I booked Malani provided me with the list of instructions for the house along with helpful tips, she responded almost immediately. We were welcomed by the friendly Casper and his wife with open arms. Would highly recommend this place for a group or Family looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

We had a lovely time staying at the house. A large spacious home with all the amenities one would hope for. Close walk to the ocean in a very quiet neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend this stay as good value for money.

Lovely home in our favourite seaside family escape. Enjoyed the pool, snooker table and table tennis. Great added value attributes not often found in the fishing village. Comfortable house and all you need in the kitchen, including two fridge/freezers, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Helpful and responsive hosts. Pet friendly too!

A beautiful version of the langezandt cottages. Very comfortable beds. Good appliances, crockery and cutlery. We will be back.

Bianca and Rob were incredibly gracious hosts during our long weekend. From the start of our booking, Bianca offered to book dinner reservations, wine tastings, and local hikes, all to make our stay memorable. Our biggest regret is we took her dinner recommendation: after our first meal with her we knew we should have eaten every meal at the studio. Bianca is a fantastic cook and everything was incredibly fresh (we watched Rob forage the fruit and vegetables from their amazing garden!) Rob and Bianca designed and built the entire space themselves and we loved hearing Rob’s story of building it from the ground up. The space was a labor of love and it was comfortable and beautiful down to every thoughtful detail, with the perfect amount of seclusion to unwind. I’ve stayed at so many home stays all over the world and I’ve never felt so welcome and at home with such genuine people. Wonderful stay. Even more wonderful people. Counting down till we can come back again.

We're so happy we found this amazing home and farm. What a beautifully laid out house, in stunning surroundings. The house had everything we needed, and was far better designed and decorated than we had expected. We were expecting an old farmhouse, which it is, but it has been lovingly looked after and is comfortable, relaxing and fun. Piet was a fantastic host and generously answered questions and told us stories of the farm and the area. We'll be back!

The host Marinda met us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and was very responsive the entire time. Starfish Cottage was easy to find, well located and absolutely spotless, with lovely smelling linen and towels. Extra touches like Easter eggs and hot cross buns on our Easter weekend break, were really appreciated. In addition there were a lot of other extra touches, like biscuits, fruit in a fruit bowl, milk and water waiting in the fridge. Matches and firelighters by the fireplace. The additional toiletries were a godsend when we discovered my father had left some of his toiletries behind. Having firewood available for sale was also a bonus. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were awesome. We loved having the fully enclosed garden for our 3 doggos who enjoyed the break too. Highly recommend.

What a lovely cottage style home .. was perfect for our group and we loved that each room has its own private bathroom.. if your going to cape agulhus it’s the ideal choice… Kerry was so accommodating and even allowed us use of the fishing rods

What a fantastic stay! The home is exceptionally sheltered from the wind which is needed for a beach holiday. The home is beautifully furnished and had all the extras such as, Netflix, WiFi, an inverter for load shedding, a dishwasher, heated plunge pool, Nespresso, ice maker, and outdoor heated shower, a grass area for the kids to play ball, well equipped braai and plenty of fire wood for our stay!! The attention to detail which made our stay extremely welcoming and comfortable was that the host had stocked the house with plenty of toiletries , hand soaps, creams, tissues, air fresheners, toilet paper, cleaning products, dish clothes, tea coffee and basics such as foil and serviettes. Added bonus was the laundry with plenty of detergent. The house is spacious and has two extra fridges and freezers in the garage which is perfect for a long stay. The host was exceptional and very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Massimo …. See you soon !

The house felt like a home away from home. Our checkin hostess, Esmeralda, was accommodating and helpful. Great for a family holiday as the house is spacious with plenty of space to curl up with a book. 3 minute walk from the central beach and hotel for great cocktails. Secure, private and comfortable

I had the most incredible stay! Sybille went out of her way to accommodate me. The Studio cottage was a dream. Sitting on the porch was so beautiful and peace3ful and the walks with my dogs were outstanding. I just fell in love with the place. I will definitely be back. Thank you Sybille.

What an amazing stay! My wife and I both love space & to relax. Emmie's place was amazing! We found what we wanted there and much more. The atmosphere was so peaceful. We were able to rest and relax - which is what we were after. Emmie was also very accommodating- she took time to inform us of actvities (like the Arniston Caves) and restaurants in the area and even sent us links for them. Emmie, thank you!!!
