This gorgeous stone cottage is a hidden away gem with a view of the hills and mountains. The bedrooms all have their own bathrooms which is also great. 2 terraces and a pool and a firepit BBQ - the perfect place to unwind. The small village has a good supermarket, 2 restaurants and a great bakery/coffee shop - all within walking distance from the house (albeit down a very steep hill) We were glad we hired a car as we drove to the beach twice and the city of Rethymno - had a great seafood meal in the old harbour…

Beautiful small villa with pool almost secluded. Ideal for groups who have a car and want accommodation in silence and nature at a reasonable price. In the nearby village a medium sized supermarket and petrol station. Rethymno beach is only about 15min drive away.

Would highly recommend Marble Villa. Niki is a very good host and responds to queries very quickly. She gave us great recommendations for beaches and restaurants all of which lived up to expectations. The villa is surprisingly large for a two bedroom and has everything you’ll need for a holiday. The pool was cleaned regularly and always had a shady spot at any time of the day. It is a very quiet secluded location - nearest restaurant is a six minute drive away and both Rethymno (north coast) and the beaches of the south coast are a 25 minute drive away but for us this was ideal. You’ll need a car but this means you can access all sorts of quiet places off the beaten track. Lovely holiday, lovely villa, lovely host!

The accommodation is in a super quiet location and has everything you need, including a very nice view. It was very clean and tidy on arrival and Nikos had prepared a basket of goodies. Check-in was very flexible and easy and communication with Nikos very fast and clear. There is nothing to complain about, we had a great time and can definitely recommend the accommodation. Thank you!

We stayed in the Hercule villa for 5 days and everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and extremely clean. Everything is well thought out, the hosts were able to welcome us with small touches that are very important. The accommodation is in a great location close to Rethymno 15min. The accommodation is quiet and pleasant. The exterior is very well maintained. We recommend it if you want a successful vacation, this is the place for you! Thank you for an amazing experience.

This has to be the best air bnb I have ever stayed at. The house is beautiful and we all felt very at home. The check in was easy, and the team responsible for the house were very helpful and polite. Always easy to contact. The house is set in the middle of a tiny town that is very quiet. The local tavern and grocery stores are a 15 min walk. We walked to the taverna(which had the best food out of everywhere we eat) and back at night. The way is very dark and seems scary, but it’s perfectly safe. The walk is very serene and quiet. I would love to come back and will be back

Our stay at this house was absolutely amazing! The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The outdoor area was a real highlight – perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing, or enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The atmosphere of the house made us feel immediately at home. Stavros was a wonderful host. He welcomed us personally with a short tour of the house during check-in and gave us many helpful local tips. On top of that, he generously provided us with fresh fruit and other essentials, which was such a thoughtful touch.
