Nice place to stay at Kalimpong, not far from market. Nice ambiance and Prasant is very decent and food was also good. Someone will feel like home.

The Homestay - Humble. If you're seeking peace and tranquility, you must come here. Sit by the window and all you see is the lush green panorama, all you hear is the endless chirping of birds. And when you see the clouds rolling in through the valley, you may never want to leave. The Host - Like a brother, he took care of us. Prakash bhai was there when our flight was hours late and we arrived post midnight. He did complain a bit, but that's his pahadi sense of humour. Never said no to any requests/demands. He offered us snacks+coffee+rum, and did not charge a single penny more, even though all of it was out of his meal plan. And he suggested us hikes/treks around Gurdum. This is where Chandan bhai comes in. The man not only cooked for us, but was also our guide on a short but thrilling hike to Dumbarkhola falls. Amenities - Basic. Clean room, delicious food. If you're a yak/pork lover, ask for it. 3 meals, 2 tea+snacks per day is offered at ₹600. Come here, rediscover yourself.

Had the most amazing time at Norbu Gokyil in Darjeeling! The place is super peaceful, tucked away just enough from the town to feel calm but still close enough to everything. The best part though was the lovely family hosting us — all four of them were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. You really feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just renting a place. They were always happy to help, whether it was with local tips or just chatting over tea. And their three adorable dogs made the stay even better — super friendly and so cute! The room was clean, cozy, and perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. The food was also really good and homely — just what you’d want in a place like this. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, heartwarming stay in Darjeeling. Already missing it!

Kushal & Nabin are great host. Their property is very good and they have kept it well. Very close to airport. If you love pets, you will have a great time and if you're not fond of them, the pets won't bother you at all . They are very warm hosts and the food provided by them was out of the world. This place was truly beautiful. The room was exactly same as it was described rather better than how it was described. Truly very good hospitality. Ramita was very responsive all the times. She has arranged for what we've asked for. Good homely food. Ganga and the other girl was a very sweet girl and very responsive too. Lastly when we were leaving, Ramita came with us to the car to say good bye. See I know you'll get lots of Homestays with a cheeper price. But if you prefer quality time and good hospitality in a heritage bunglow then this is the place. They have so many dogs also they are friendly too. So if you are a dog lover then definitely go for it.

The place was absolutely magical! The house was super cozy and good for a group stay. Prayag is an absolutely wonderful host and helps to take care of everything. The view from the place is beautiful , rooms are cozy and clean. Overall - good stay and Would definitely like to come back here :)
