It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a day in town, or get some time away to paint, write or reconvene with yourself, nature, or the one you love. West-side Trailhead Retreat in the Sonoran Desert

2017 guest house in Tucson Mountain foothills adjacent to Sweetwater Preserve (14+ mi.s of trails: mountain biking, horseback, running, & hiking)! Enjoy the giant soaking tub, BBQ grill, sunsets & patio. A full kitchen, sitting area, bath & BR are downstairs (550 sq. ft.). Up a 90-degree ladder to BR/retreat space, wonderful for getaway views. Our property is a 3-acre lot w/ desert flora/fauna, stars, & quietness, yet only 10 mi. from UA. Horses add to the ambiance with a taste of ranch life.

Nestled at the foot of stunning Red Butte, Thunderbird Suite is southwestern decor with antique furniture. Just outside the glass doors, is a desert landscape of Saguaros & other Sonoran natural desert cactus & trees. Thunderbird is an independent, private suite added onto the main house, with a wall separating it. There is laundry available just next to the private bath with shower & tub. 411sq ft private Casita just newly REMODELED! Sleeps up to 4. King feather bed & a pullout sleeper. Located just past a quaint garden where you can catch hummingbirds drinking. Private parking & entrance, just come and go. ASK ABOUT: Our other King Suite just feet away! Can sleep 2 more! Cool off in pool (rarely used by us), use outside patio (where cooking station is located, there's no kitchen in the casita). Min. from I-10 & stellar Tucson Biking Loop!!

1650 sq ft southwest home welcomes visitors with a full house to feel right at home. 1 acre of native plants, tortoise enclosure, fire pit, horse & goats to pet. If you love nature this casita is just for you. Located 15 minutes from downtown and only a few minutes from stunning hiking and mountain biking trails in the National Park. The property is very much like a botanical garden with fruit trees filling up the back and a wide variety of succulents filling the front. The casita has its own private porch while the property shares two large communal patios with outdoor dining and a fire pit.
