Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

Very good quality accommodation. We were delighted with the house and its surroundings. We didn't lack anything, and if we had any problems, Egoitz solved them very quickly and accurately. Our host, Egoitz, was super friendly and super attentive (he even left us a list of places to go). The wonderful house with almost all the rooms with their own bathroom. There are several villages nearby (very nice) with everything you need to buy. And highlight the cleanliness of the house and its surroundings. In addition to the detail of the eggs he left us from his own chickens. The children were delighted with the donkey and the sheep (an unbeatable environment). With all this, thank you so much for everything and if we return to Bilbao, I would already know where to stay again.

Wow, what a uniquely beautiful and interesting home. More like a mountain mansion from a movie set, with a lovely garden and pool. The living and dining rooms were spacious and decorated with great character. The original tree-trunk sized crossbeams and antique doors and windows make you feel like you've traveled back in time. It's so peaceful on the mountaintop with a great view. Luis and his sister Carlota are warm and responsive hosts, who only asked us to love their house as much as they do.

Fantastic rural location and accommodation. So nice to find somewhere like this in this day and age, authentic and comfortable. I was in awe of the scenery, having cycled through much of it to get here. Great communications ftom Nerea. Her parents lovely to, looking after me and chatting via Google translate. Most of all it's the location that makes this place a winner for me.

We were very satisfied with our stay! :) The place has beautiful interior design and is very well equipped—everything we needed was there. The only small downside was the parking; it's only possible on the surrounding streets. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

The house was really nice. As shown and had everything we needed. Great to be able to bring our dog, and the two outdoor spaces were a real bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the shower is excellent. Restaurants nearby were very overhyped on Google. Lovely walks straight from the house or a short drive, and a lake about 20 mins away was great for a swim. We didn’t meet the owner, but communication was fast and helpful.

An outdoor dining area is presented with a round wooden table surrounded by four chairs. Potted plants add a touch of greenery, while a comfortable seating arrangement is situated nearby, complemented by natural stone flooring and rustic wooden supports.

Very quiet location, cozy and authentic Basque house with all the necessary amenities. Very spacious, nicely decorated, well maintained and clean. Very friendly and helpful host. Even sent out a package with forgotten items after the trip. Location is very good base for Bilbao and the lakes towards Vittoria. A little further drive to the coastal villages and San Sebastián but feasible. We had the race bikes with us and could immediately do some climbing nearby.
