Stone cottage

JennyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
What a delightful cottage. It had everything we needed + more. Great shower, comfy bed. After travelling for a few days we appreciated that there was a washing machine, and a dryer also if we needed it.Suzanne made us feel very welcome and left bread, milk, butter, coffee, tea and lots of other food items which we could use if we wanted. Her communication was great. The village is gorgeous and has a good selection of restaurants. We went into Belfast one day, catching the train from Bangor to avoid the stress of driving in a city we didn’t know.

The Lookout, Ballyhalbert- cottage with sea views

AlisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house was beautiful and exactly how it looked in the pictures. The view is so fabulous, changing with the tides and daylight. Great garden area as well for my doggy. The town itself is very quiet with only a shop and a chip van - which is currently closed on weekends. We were able to pivot and cook a decent meal in the house though instead, then go to a nearby town the next evening for food. Really chilled place to stay as a base for seeing around the rest of the area. And always a bonus when you can bring your four-legged friends 👍🐾

This is simply a delightful place to stay: peaceful, beautiful and with a rare spiritual dimension in that so much of Mike's personality, passions and enthusiasms infuse everything within and without. We felt totally at home and left feeling refreshed and restored in a way seldom experienced before. Indeed, we felt we were departing from a friend.

The Stables - Luxury Cottage with Hot Tub

MRating, 5 stars68 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Stabble. Owner lives next door & the careful attention to our request from Martina & Dill made this stay even more enjoyable. On our arrival fresh milk in fridge and scones with butter and jam awaited us. House was cosy : warm, comfortable sitting room and scrupulously clean bedrooms and bathrooms. And happiness for us and kids: completely private hot tub in the backyard. We chose this exclusively for Hot Tub and really enjoyed relaxing in it, which was included in price... If Hot Tub is not your choice, you may find cheaper options too. But again, only 15 mins drive from City makes it a best choice probably for those who want to stay in a peaceful setting yet close enough to City. Thanks to Martina & Dill.

This was a really smooth airbnb experience - Janet was very good at communicating, everything was pristine when we arrived and there were lots of little things extra that really showed Janet has put alot of effort into making the experience top class. As the weather was not so good on one of the days we spent most of it in the hot tub !! - this is a great option and perfect for when we arrived also. The location is perfect for trips around the lough and we all had a great time. Thanks to Janet for making it very cosy and amenable.
