Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Årdal

Great place, I love Norway and especially the Ardalstangen area, accommodation in a great place, almost right next to the fjord, the house is clean, spacious with a beautiful view. A shop within walking distance where everything is available. Breathtaking landscape, lots of hiking. I definitely recommend it, it's a great place to stay in a great place to relax. The owner is communicative and cool, when something needed to be solved, we managed everything 100%. Thanks and we'll definitely be back TOP, TOP, TOP.

It doesn't get any better: a rustic house with several balconies with the Lusterfjord right in front of you and a view of a waterfall. From here you can do so much, such as a hike to the glacier tongue and the Jotunheimen National Park is within easy reach. Camilla is always available and has many tips and hints. Full recommendation!!

We were personally welcomed by Janicke and briefly instructed; in the kitchen there was an apple pie ready - just the thing after a long journey! We felt comfortable in the old house from the first minute. It is tastefully and stylishly decorated and exudes a coziness that also roosters over gray rainy days. And then that magnificent view down to the fjord! Luster is a pleasant, small, non-touristy place ideal for exploring the area. We had a wonderful week and thank Janicke for letting us stay in her house!

The amenities were good. The house is spacious and bright and very practically furnished. Very easily accessible. The terrace in front of the house has a fantastic view, we did not get bored. Repeatable.

This is a perfect location to have as a base as you travel through the Fjords. We had a car making it easy to get around. Nearest town is 10 mins and kitchen had everything you needed to make light meals. Sigrid was kind and we enjoyed our stay.

very good location and birthe's is nice host.always responsing if needed and helpfull. we came from denmark by drive and came late night .we easily could able ro get access in the apartment, big space for common areas and big kitchen in common area. super market kiqi is just oposite of the house and it was easier to find out our groceries . around location and tourist apot is awesome . ii stayed 5 night with my kids and family. i recommend birthe's place is super for visitors.

We had a nice few days here! Good hiking opportunities and 20 minutes from Hemsedal Skisenter. The host was friendly and helpful with everything we were wondering about. An incredibly nice place to spend Easter in the mountains!

We enjoyed our stay at Marte‘s apartment. The apartement was spacious and clean. The terrace is a highlight. It is big with a lot of possibilities to sit there and enjoy the view. Marte was a considerate and friendly host.

This is a wonderful apartment with stunning views of the mountains and fjord. The location is excellent, right in town, close to amenities, yet very quiet. Kai was promptly responsive when we had a few questions and gave clear instructions. This was definitely one of our favorite places in the world to stay!

We stayed one night at Jostein's place, which was wonderful. Rooms are big and comfortable. Lovely Ben, neat bathrooms. The shared space is equipped with every comfort. The view was also amazing here and above all Jostein was a very nice and cozy host. I would stay here again in an instant!

Stunning location right at the edge of the bay with beautiful views of the sea on one side and steep mountain slopes on the other. Its a nice quiet village with lovely plantations and fields. The house has big glass windows to enjoy the exceptional views. The place was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the utencils, crockery and all the required kitchen gadgets. There was enough place for the 8 of us to not feel crowded inside. There was enough place to park our 2 vehicles. Every single detail was thought through. The linen and towels were clean. Absolutely nothing I could think of that was missing or not up to the mark. 10/10 for me.

Jostein and his family are really really nice people and always want to help. As religious people they really take charity as duty and help wherever it's needed. The family invited me twice for dinner and Jostein gave me several times a lift to see the area or to reach the accommodation. I can just recommend to stay here! Really nice people and we had a lot of nice and open conversations. Keep up the nice work and if I can I will come back! Best regards, David

This is our second year at Villa Fjellheim in connection with our annual ski trip. The villa is perfect for both large and smaller travel companions, and is equipped with good practical solutions from end to end. It's easy to live here! The villa is idyllically located overlooking the Nigardsbreen glacier, and has a charming atmosphere for relaxation and coziness after active days in the mountains. The location also provides the best starting point for active days with ski slopes, hiking trails and mountain peaks just outside the door! The host is neat and pleasant, and we are already looking forward to staying at Villa Fjellheim again! 5/5

Jostein is a kind person and was ready to help us for anything. Our room was nice and the house in which it is placed is a lovely space. Big common kitchen and comfortable furnitures. Recommended

Very nice place with lots of air and room for the big family we were. The ski buses were a bit irregular; so we drove to the ski center. A car was parked at the nearby KIWI shop; as the driveway was very steep, but was nicely cleared of snow every day. So it was ok to drive up and down in the big car. Really nice host and easy to reach the few times we needed help. A person had forgotten linen; but there were posts on the bulletin board about where you could rent it - it would have been nice to know so we could have rented everyone. Otherwise, the description fits perfectly and we enjoy the stay very much.
