Experience life in the Portuguese countryside in a traditional family owned Quinta! Perfect for families with children :) Location: Located in the center of the village Vale, Arcos de Valdevez just across the street from the church, the whole property has more than 6 hectares, it’s located in one of the most famous wine regions (vinho verde) in the country and it offers the insights of traditional farming in Northern Portugal. Description: Your home is a cottage with 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other has a bunk bed. In the living room there is an expandable sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped to make you feel like home and the bathroom has a shower with hot water. We try to arrange the privacy and comfort of modern home in a rustic environment. Activities: In this Quinta (Portuguese farm) you can admire the great view of the whole valley, take a nice walk (1 km) to a small waterfall and natural swimming pool, enjoy some quality time with the pigs, sheep or ducks on the property or taste the home made jams, smoked meat or liquors produced by the owner. For the nature lovers this is the place to start a hike in Peneda-Geres National Park and there is a local company that organizes tours and canoe rides. Getting around I you arrive by car, free parking is available on site. Closest city is Arcos de Valdevez (8 km away). It is well connected by bus with Porto, Lisbon, Braga and there is a direct bus from Porto airport. From Arcos to Vale there is a local bus service twice a day and taxi is available for around 10 euros. Pick up can be arranged for a fee, if agreed beforehand.

House built in granite, with three bedrooms, a kitchen, une living room, one bathroom fully furnished, a garden and open space with barbecue. Feel free to enjoy your stay. Enjoy the nature and relax! The urban area is really nera the house and you can enjoy the lovely food in soem restaurants or just enjoy the natural landscape by wlaking around or just enjoy a nice drink in one of the river-fronts. Public transportations are not the best, but you can visit some of the surrounding towns if you are good in making plans... This is my home. I reconstructed it myself. It's full of love...

Casa do Cruzeiro is a fabulous place to spend holidays in a Peneda-Gerês National Park. Located in a village of Soajo with a wonderfull view under the mountains and the Adrão River valley. Our house has all the facilities to spend a few days in the peace and quiet of nature. A completely private space with kitchen, bathroom, garden, closed patio, two double bedrooms (one of them with a bunk bed for the children). It is important to mention that one of the bedrooms is an annex outside the house.

Meine Familie und ich haben im Juni 2025 ein paar tolle Tage hier verbracht. Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Haus! Von Anfang bis Ende war alles perfekt. Das Haus selbst ist einfach ein Traum – groß, super modern und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Außenanlage ist ein echtes Highlight: Der Pool war herrlich erfrischend, die Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen sehr gemütlich, und die Grillanlage war perfekt für unsere gemeinsamen Abende. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die tolle Kommunikation mit Ezabele und den anderen Gastgebern. So freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit – man hat richtig gemerkt, wie wichtig ihnen unser Wohlbefinden war. Bei Fragen oder Anliegen waren sie sofort erreichbar, und wir haben uns durchweg bestens betreut gefühlt. Wir kommen mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit wieder – es war einfach alles rundum stimmig. Danke für diese schöne Zeit! ☀️🏡

Alex and Julia were fantastic hosts, extremely generous with their delicious homegrown produce and very friendly - we really enjoyed sharing a coffee with Alex in the local cafe in the morning. The apartment is a great jumping off point for hiking in the national park. Definitely recommend!

La casa es más bonita delo que sale en las fotos, muy cómoda y en un entorno privilegiado, en la montaña, y con muchas zonas y playas fluviales al lado de casa , hay una ecografía de 40 km, que puedes recoger a través del bosque sin dejar el rio vez.Fabiana, ha sido muy amable y en todo momento a estado pendiente nuestra, le pedí una plancha, y a la mañana siguiente tenía una y una tabla de plancha recién comprada, volveremos sin duda.

We had a great stay at Joao’s place. The apartment was clean, quiet, and located in a very peaceful environment — perfect for relaxing and getaways. It had all the listed amenities and felt just like home. The location is also convenient, with Monção city just a 10-minute drive away, offering access to supermarkets and excellent restaurants. Joao’s was a great host, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Stayed here 10 days, wish I had booked the whole stay, but went rest of trip to south part of Portugal. Best Airbnb ever, great location and beautiful view, amazing sunrises that we watched from our bedroom. The father Sr Albert was amazing, enjoyed our conversations and his company. He would tell us to have the fresh vegetables from the garden, amazing man. Beautiful house, excellent accommodations and a really good time, would definitely recommend and repeat.
