Cozy log house with close to forest and water. The cottage is 56 sqm with two bedrooms, living room with sofa bed, as well as dining room/kitchen. The cottage has running water and electricity. There is a shower, as well as a fresh outdoor toilet. The house has a porch with dining table and “cozy corner” There is also a self-contained wood-fired sauna on the farm as well. Relax in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Borrow bikes and take a trip to the country shop, the beach or the village flea markets. 2 km to Svinö harbor and the ferry to the archipelago island of Föglö. Close to bus.

Small cabin in the woods, close to sea for morning dip after short walk through the forest out to the point south east of the cottage (over the netfence)woodstove for heating and boiling washing water when chilly outside and kitchenette with gas stove. No neighbours. 2 km from main road.No electricity or running water. Beautiful natural light and candles included.Drinking Water will be provided. Outside toilet (tc) where you put the used paper in a paper bag and burn it at the end of your stay.

A simple accommodation perfect for overnight stays, or for a couple of nights exploring Föglö. Outhouse and limited laundry facilities but a cozy spacious cottage in the middle of a small farm with horses, chickens, and a farm dog. Close to Degerby, the central town on Föglö. Very close to Föglö church. Own sheets with! Or rent sheets for 5€ per person, payable in cash on arrival. An outdoor grill is available, bring your own charcoal, etc.

Quaint cottage with the sea as the only neighbor!

Welcome to Lunsberg! Here is life still and close to nature. Fire in the wood sauna, warm up by that fireplace and let the days go. The cottage is about 50 sqm with kitchen/living room, bedroom, a generous loft and large terrace. Maybe the best view of the plot can be found in the outhouse located just behind the cabin. Down by the sea there is a protected jetty if you want to get to Lunsberg by your own boat or just swim after the sauna.

Mattas i Finby

At our farmhouse Mattas in Finby, Sund, we can offer a rural and cozy accommodation with 4 beds (two single beds and a sofa bed). It is an apartment on the second floor from the 50s that we have carefully renovated to keep the old-fashioned feel. On the farm there are many different animals (cows, horses, chickens and sheep) and our farm dairy (Mattas Gårdsmejeri). During July, we open a café during the day (11am-5pm).

Åland,Healthy charming house near Kastelholm/Bomarsund

The cottage ( Fridhem), which was originally a baker's cottage, was moved from a small village to the current location in the 50s, when it was also converted to the current house. The cottage is located by road 2, midway between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, about 5 km each way. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn. There are cycle paths outside the knot, beautiful forest roads as well. See my guide for tips.
