Απέχει μόλις 5χλμ. από το κέντρο της πόλης και 5 λεπτά οδικώς από το Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Ρίου και το Πανεπιστήμιο. Είναι πολύ κοντά στις αθλητικές εγκαταστάσεις του Προμηθέα, Τόφαλος και Golden tennis club. Βρίσκεται σε ήσυχη γειτονιά δίπλα σε σταθμό τρένου, στάση λεωφορείου και μόλις 80μ. από την παραλία.
