Enjoy the designer kitchen with all new appliances, as well as a brand new bathroom, updated bedrooms and outdoor shower. This chic 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home, which can sleep up to 5, has been designed with an eye for detail, style and relaxation. The master bedroom enjoys a queen sized bed that's perfect for 2 adults. The second bedroom can accommodate up to 3 people with a double bed for two people, and a single bed for one person. Only 80-miles from Manhattan, a 90-minute drive and close to the towns of Jamesport, Southold and Greenport, The Beach Cottage is the perfect summer escape. Stay on the property for swimming, paddle boarding, beach walks and BBQs or venture out to enjoy all the North Fork has to offer. Wine tasting at the French run winery Croteaux, lunch at the world class North Fork Table and Inn, shop at the many Organic Farms or explore the charming historic seaport village of Greenport, all short drives from the cottage. Upon request, Pets are allowed, for an extra fee of $200 per stay. Guests have access the entire property, including a private path to the beach. This stylish retreat is nestled on a private Soundfront beach at the end of a 7-acre property. Wine tasting at Croteaux, lunch at world-class North Fork Table and Inn, and the historic seaport village of Greenport are all within a short drive. The closest Jitney stop is Aquebogue or Riverhead. I am an Australian born designer that lives in NYC and has been renovating homes for the past several years. Our Flatiron loft in NYC was featured in Dwell Magazine, I designed the Upper West Side apartment for the founder & CEO of Soul Cycle, and my husband and I recently renovated our family's weekend beach house on the North Fork. I have a passion for turning houses into homes by bringing the clean, breezy and natural aesthetic, inspired by my homeland in Australia.

We are located on the North Fork of Long Island close to beaches, county and state parks, wineries and breweries, farm stands. The ocean is 20 minutes away, Long Island Sound and Peconic Bay 10 minutes. Beautiful Greenport and Shelter Island are great destinations for shopping and dining.

Rich’s place was perfect for our long weekend visit. It has lots of space, all the amenities we needed, plus was cozy and quiet. We were comfortable and Rich was flexible and easy to communicate with. We’re happy we found his place.

New Jamesport Beach Cottage & Barn

This beach cottage had everything you needed to feel welcome and comfortable! We spent two weeks there, and had everything we need to enjoy the time. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you might need from an ice cream scoop to a wine opener, we appreciated the variety of glassware. Make sure to drive slowly through the complex of beach cottages, as there are many small children around. Bring some beach towels and you’re all set! There are so much to do on the north floor, and location is great for restaurants and wineries. The Wi-Fi was strong and consistent, as we had to work a little bit while we were out there. Air conditioning was great, and loved the washer/dryer! The hosts were very responsive, and you can tell they put a lot of pride into renovating the cottage and the barn. There are lots of adorable bunnies to spy both morning and evening. The sunroom was a great place to both work and enjoy some quiet time.

INCREDIBLE! Even more peaceful and beautiful than imagined. Our host was super accommodating and helpful in everything we needed. Sitting by the water or even viewing the river from inside was fantastic. They had lots of helpful recommendations and great places listed in their welcome sheets inside. Easy to get places and convenient location.

Pet-Friendly Home w/ Hot Tub Near the Hamptons!

We stayed midweek for a little two-night getaway to explore the North Fork. The property was quiet and secluded in a residential neighborhood, but a short drive to coffee/restaurants/shops. From this location, it was also easy to find an Uber to and from the wineries in the North Fork area. Owner (and many animals!) are on-site. We enjoyed meeting Pumpkin the pony! We brought our dog as well, and there was plenty of space for her to explore. Smart TV had plenty of streamers to choose from. Kitchen has the basics but we didn't really use it. Definitely recommend this space for a quiet, low-key retreat. Note to potential guests - if you are bringing a pet who is sensitive to other animals being around, be aware there not just are chickens but a horse, pony, geese, and other pups. Thanks for a great stay!

Christine is an excellent and responsible host with an awesome home - perfect for a weekend getaway. The house is thoughtfully decorated and organized, with everything you’d need and more. Very clean, quiet and comfy for our group of 5. The house even had a good selection of current books to read and Sonos speakers in multiple rooms. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and would return!
