Monthly Rentals in Apoyo Lagoon

The landscape and scenery were just spectacular! The place was so immaculately landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us tours, restaurant suggestions and taking care of whatever we needed. The lake was beautiful and perfect temperature to swim in. We heard monkeys, roosters and tons of birds. It was a lovely jungle experience. The last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted all night and we lost power so that was exciting and added to the full Nicaraguan experience. The road to get to the house is well paved, except the last 1/4 mile or so which was a rough dirt road so make sure you have an suv. I would definitely stay here again and for longer next time. There are restaurants a half mile away that are quite nice with equally great views.

We had the pleasure of staying at La Giralda. The view was amazing and everything is just as described. It’s a great place to take a step back, relax and enjoy nature. The monkeys and the birds greeted us every morning. We also saw a bat, a couple of cool squirrels and cicadas. Luis really went out of his way to provide great local recommendations and was super attentive to my family and I. Always willing to help and extremely friendly. There’s no doubt we will be staying at La Giralda again.

A truly beautiful little casita in the most serene and peaceful surroundings. Benjamin was the most responsive host I've ever had on Airbnb and was always quick to help when needed (thanks to Nicaraguan power cuts!). A lovely guy and a beautiful place to stay - couldn't recommend more

Our stay was so nice and relaxing. We had the best hospitality from Todd he made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Great restaurant’s were right around the corner. The Lagoon was right down the stairs with its own private beach and a place to relax in the sand. It was one for the books. Thank you again and can’t wait to come back.
