n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. The Logis

Within the Domaine de l'Enchantoir, our organic vineyard, stay in our two adjacent cottages to form a large reception area for 10 people. Completely renovated, these apartments are composed of a total of 5 bedrooms. All bedrooms come equipped with air conditioning. Outdoor table, pool table and reading room for relaxation. Possibility to rent a large reception room for communal meals. Bed linen, towels, soaps, shower gel and shampoo included.

In the heart of our wine estate in Oiré, Les Loges de Vignes, a fully restored former residence, welcomes you to a winegrowers' village on the Doué-en-Anjou/Le Puy Notre Dame axis and offers a cottage with 5 bedrooms. 4 bedrooms are in the house with 3 bathrooms and 4 toilets. The 5th bedroom with bathroom and toilet is outside against the house.
