Lovely apartment close to the lakes and downtown

We have a lovely Bed and Breakfast apartment with space for coziness both indoors and outdoors. You get your own kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom and if you have an electric car, you can charge it with us. The apartment has its own entrance to a beautiful garden with the possibility of both entertainment and relaxation. You will find everything from garden furniture, hammock and outdoor activities in the form of games and a trampoline. There are several cozy nooks that you are welcome to use, just as there is a Mexican fireplace and barbecue in the garden. Free parking in front of the house.

Close to the Gudenåen and in the middle of nature with rich opportunities to see the deer in the field, the birds of prey in the trees and listen to the songbirds chirping. Grandmother's living room is separate at one end of the house. Here, there is intimacy and coziness in abundance, and you will experience tranquility and views of nature through all the windows. WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There is also a sauna in connection with the sea bath. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

In scenic surroundings lies the historic Grønbæk Præstegård 1757. The Confirmation Room, which consists of a private entrance, kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms and bathroom, is rented out. Get a freshly laid egg, pick berries, or take a walk in the amazing outdoor areas. The Confirmation Room is located at the opposite end of our private home and has its own entrance. 5 minutes to Ans (shopping, etc.). 15 minutes to Silkeborg (nature, restaurants, culture, shopping) 45 minutes to Aarhus (with everything the city of smiles has to offer.)

Beautiful surroundings on a nature property

Newly renovated large and bright room on 1 floor with fantastic views (and with the possibility of 2 extra beds in addition to double bed) and newly renovated smaller room with vaulted ceilings on the ground floor - also with nice views and double bed. There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" hygge with large canvas, a game of table football or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg.
