The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.

Our vacation home is one of the oldest farmhouses in the village. We restored it with a lot of love and brought it back to its old condition as best we could. We tried to use only historical building materials such as clay and wood. Rumpshagen is located directly in front of the Müritz National Park. I’m glad you’re interested in staying at the “Alte Ziegelei.” The "Alte Ziegelei" is a historic property surrounded by meadows and fields. It is situated in a secluded location between Röbel and the village of Solzow, not far from the Müritz. Please note that we are making an exception reasons, have a minimum stay of 3 nights. Unser EFH liegt am südwestlichen Rand der Kernstadt in Seenähe mit Bademöglichkeiten. Zur Autobahn 24 sind es etwa 5km. Der Bus (Stadtlinie) hält wochentags über alle 20min in ca. 200m Entfernung. Im Wohngebiet gibt es kein lautes Gewerbe. Das Radwegenetz ist gut ausgebaut und eine Speisegaststätte liegt fußläufig in ca. 250m.
