Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Angoulême

Nous avons passé un week-end de rêve entre amis (5 personnes) dans cette très belle maison au calme absolu au milieu des vignes et très bien équipée très largement au dessus de la moyenne des locations qui s'en tiennent au strict nécessaire. A noter le très bon accueil de Lucy dont le briefing est complet. Un vrai coup de cœur que nous recommandons.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez David et son épouse. Ça a été dur de partir ! Pour des jeunes parents, nous avons trouvé exactement ce que nous voulions : un lieu magnifique pour profiter avec nos enfants mais aussi en amoureux lors des siestes et du coucher. Les enfants ont adoré, il y a des jouets pour eux ce qui est trop rare ! Nous espérons revenir !

Great place with a lot of interesting features like the lighting. Very nice bathrooms and showers with plenty of towels. Very clean and comfortable place. The drier does not function very well, but overall great place to stay.

Wir hatten für 9 Nächte Hermines Haus gebucht, wurden sehr, sehr freundlichen von der Co-Gastgeberin Mélanie empfangen, die uns während unseres kompletten Aufenthalts sehr nett persönlich bzw. telefonisch betreut hat bei allen Fragen. Das Haus ist sehr schön, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Für uns war die Lage ideal, denn wir mögen Ruhe und Zurückgezogenheit. Die umliegenden Ortschaften sind sehr klein und beschaulich, man kann aber in der Nähe einkaufen. Wir haben einige Radtouren unternommen, die Wege sind gut ausgebaut. Angoulème hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt und eine perfekte Betreuung! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Achtung: Die Treppe ins Obergeschoss ist wunderschön aber nicht geeignet für Menschen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind. Man darf sie nicht mit Schuhen betreten, sie hat keinen Handlauf und ist sehr unregelmäßig und glatt. Für uns war das aber kein Problem.

Le logement est d'une grande propreté, très fonctionnel et confortable muni d'un vrai coin salon où nous avons pu nous retrouver à 8 et, ce qui a été très agréable et surtout très pratique, 4 chambres meublées à l'identique et équipées d'une salle d'eau et de toilettes chacune. Un vrai plus ! Un seul bémol : le coin cuisine, même si fonctionnel et très bien équipé, est un peu trop petit. De plus, les propriétaires sont charmants et accueillants ! Bref, une adresse à conserver...

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

Nous avons passé un (trop) court séjour chez notre hôte mais ces quelques nuits étaient très paisibles, le cadre magnifique et nous avons été accueillis comme à la maison! Je recommande à 100% pour les amoureux de la nature, du terroir, des belles découvertes et de la gastronomie Française.

Séjour incroyable, ressourçant, loin du monde. Qualité et service exceptionnels. Tout est impeccable, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Tout s'est très bien passé. Super agréable d'avoir pu profiter du jardin avec notre chienne. Le logement était parfait pour nous 👌, spacieux, propre et pratique avec belle campagne environnante ! Nous recommandons sans réserve ce logement.

Très bel appartement, joliment décoré. très bien placé pour profiter du centre de Périgueux avec des stationnements gratuits à proximité. Attention avec des jeunes enfants car il y a beaucoup de décorations et plantes accessibles à leur hauteur, mais c'est ce qui donne un charme fou à cet appartement.

lieu magique l'univers d'Harry Potter est bien représenté notre fille était très contente . La Taverne du sorcier ne serait rien sans une parfaite gardienne du temple sabrina remplit à merveille ce rôle fans d'Harry Potter pressez vous !

Een prachtige plek, in een historisch chateau. Bij aankomst wordt je hartelijk ontvangen en rondgeleid. Er is volop rust, een zwembad en sportfaciliteiten op het terrein. Het dorp heeft een winkel, een bakker en een bar met eten en soms live muziek. Het huis heeft een fijne mix van Franse klasse en Engelse gezelligheid, en er zijn fijne buren. Wij hebben met ons gezin een heerlijke week gehad!

Our stay in Eric’s house was perfect. Stepping out into the heart of the old town was a wonderful experience every time. The location could not be more central to restaurants shops and bars. We will certainly stay again.

The Gite was in the perfect location for us in a beautiful setting. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The upstairs deck looked out over the pool, very nice!

Such a wonderful location, so secluded and peaceful. We were welcomed warmly and calmly. The house was spotless, the pool was lovely and warm and the house is much larger than it appears. We particularly liked the huge bed. Coming from England we were excited by the shutters and it was perfectly dark. We slept so well. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will be coming back next time we are in France, and next time bringing friends. It was wonderful.

This is a beautiful house. The photos don’t do it justice. The surrounding countryside is peaceful and quiet. The house has pretty much everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Val was a kind and attentive host who responded to our messages quickly and was helpful with recommendations for bakeries, patisseries, restaurants and days out. Sadly the weather meant that the pool was a bit too cold to use but we used the plentiful seating in the pool area a lot and were able to eat out on the terrace in the evening. I would thoroughly recommend this beautiful home and we may well be back another year.

Hôte vraiment accueillant rien à dire tout était parfait logement correspond parfaitement au photo et vraiment propre je vous recommande vraiment de passer des week-ends ou vacance chez lui vraiment super vous ne regretterez pas je vous garantie 🙂🙂🙂

Séjour en tous points conformes aux prévisions. La maison est confortable et était adaptée à notre groupe composé de six couples d'amis. Deux cuisines à disposition ce qui était une excellente chose pour le nombre que nous étions. Piscine chauffée. Calme et sans vis à vis

Beautiful location, wonderful accommodations

Excellent séjour entre amis dans cette maison au calme avec de beaux espaces, une jolie tranquillité et la piscine agréable en ce beau weekend. Nous avons passé un bon séjour ! Le seul bémol sera le manque d'un 3ème WC - ce qui pour 12 personnes s'avère utile (mais nous étions prévenu avant notre arrivée, et nous savons que c'était exceptionnel).

We had two very relaxing weeks at Gîte Magitte. The house is situated in the countryside amidst beautiful wheat fields and walnut groves, near the village of Bardenac so peace and quiet are guaranteed. The house is very comfortable and equipped with everything one could need, including air conditioning in the two downstairs bedrooms which was very much appreciated when temperatures rose above 35C. Our little terrier had plenty of space to run around as the garden is huge although not enclosed. The pièce de resistance with these temperatures was of course the beautiful swimming pool where we spent most of our day. The owner Guillaume was always accessible and replied immediately to any message we sent. We will certainly come back.
