Cheerful, Private Cottage on Oak Forest Farm

Plenty of space and privacy in this cottage over looking the fields and pond. Sit back and relax watching the horses and goats graze. Located minutes away from Oak Ridge/Clinton/Knoxville. Melton Hill lake has outdoor activities, restaurant & nice walking trail and is 10 minutes away. University of TN is 23 minutes away and Oak Ridge is 13 minutes. The 16’ ceilings make this 480 sq. ft. space feel enormous. The Kitchen has a full size refrigerator, keurig, microwave & single burner hot plate.

Spacious,newly renovated lake front home on a quiet cove with dock&wrap around porch.Enjoy peaceful woods&lake.Home is on a quiet cove to fish, swim,boat & float!Close to marinas for food & entertainment. Guest assumes all responsibility for any accidents/injuries to self and guests.Area is very wooded. A rustic path leads to the lake.Private dock in back yard.DOCK IS SEASONAL and currently not floating due to the lower than normal lake levels. You can still walk down to the water and swim.

Spacious yard and creek. Newly added landscaping with a fish pond surrounded by bird feeders. Park in attached garage.

Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.

Pool and Hot tub are seasonal, so ask if they are open. 2 Bedroom 2 Bath condo, Sleeps 8 with a Sleeper Sofa. No boat slip included, but Waterside Marina has overnight slips that can be rented. Waterside Does not allow us to keep boats or trailers on the property unless you rent a slip from the marina, but they have their own designated parking.Two Bedroom, Two bath, Sleeper Sofa, (sleeps 8) Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, Washer Dryer.
