Le Petit Ruisseau, lovely comfortable holiday home

Situated in a small hamlet just outside the historic town of Domfront in the Normandy countryside this lovely holiday home consists of a large kitchen diner with fireplace and a lounge with a fireplace with wood burner on the ground floor. On the first floor are two light and airy en-suite double bedrooms, one has bunk beds. All rooms have views of the large garden that surrounds the property with several seating areas and a graveled terrace for outside dining. Plunge pool available in summer.

The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

This is a stunning 18th Century 5* luxury holiday resort, comprising of 1 x 6 bedroom / 3 bathrooms and has a recently completed state of the art indoor swimming pool complex with temperature controlled water, large sauna and a jacuzzi. My place is close to lovely lakes and parks, you can discover art and culture and is near the medieval town of Lassay la Chateaux. My place is amazing for families with children as there is a Go Karting track nearby and plenty of other things for them to do.

This peaceful and very comfortable accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family, surrounded by 12 hectares classified as "Natura 2000", by the forest, a river, and a stream. You will be able to see many wild animals: does, deer, fawns, etc., mushroom picking, 5 bedrooms (2 queen size beds 160X200)/3 bathrooms/3 toilets/a very modern, fully equipped kitchen. Pool table, ping-pong table, 12 mountain bikes, darts, badminton net, 4 m / 2.10 m / 81 cm deep above-ground pool.

Apolline’s house is a small, charming residence located in Lassay-les-Châteaux, 2 km (1.2 miles) from Lassay Castle and 15 km (9 miles) from Bagnoles-de-l’Orne, Normandy (15-minute drive). The house is composed of a ground floor (entrance, mezzanine, living room, dining area and kitchen) and a floor (bedroom and bathroom) fully equipped and offering free wifi. The metal staircase is central. The decoration is neat. The equipment is rather high-end.

Complete with a private meadow garden, we are just a 5 minute walk into the medieval city of Domfront with its cafes, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Rich with history, beautiful flowers and breathtaking views of the sweeping woodland valley, it is a timelessly beautiful landscape.

The house includes, upstairs, 1 master suite with a bathroom with a bathtub, a cozy living room equipped with a sofa bed, and, on the ground floor, 1 large bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed, 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower, 1 dining room with 1 wood-burning stove, and a fully equipped kitchen. Towels and bed linen are provided.

Le Pressoir Normand, nestled in the heart of nature and the Ornais bocage, offers a quiet and authentic setting to unwind. In summer, with its large garden, and in winter around the fireplace, you are surrounded by the beauty of the countryside. This place owes its name to the old press on the premises, currently being restored, which bears witness to the local history and the cultural tradition of cider making in the region.

Our old bakery is part of our farmhouse. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilet. Upstairs, an attic bedroom has 3 independent beds. Outside, our guests have access to a private terrace with garden furniture. Wi-Fi is free. Breakfast (peasant bread, jam) is available on request for 5 euros per person. Close to the greenway, walkers will appreciate this stop.
