Our small house is located on the edge of the forest of Andaine, between the medieval city of Domfront en Poiraie (10mn) and the spa resort of Bagnoles de l'Orne Normandy (15mn). Also close to the GR20, hiking trails and greenways.
“Superb house very well equipped and arranged with top hosts !! Very welcome with lots of very nice little touches. Above all, do not change anything !!! The region is rich in walks and discoveries. We will return with pleasure to Christiane !!”
Our old bakehouse is a part of our farmhouse. On the ground floor, it has an equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilets. Upstairs, an attic room has 3 independent beds. Outside, our guests have access to a private terrace with garden furniture. For breakfast, we offer bread made on the farm from cereals grown by us. Close to the greenway, walkers will appreciate this stop.
“Edwige is a very good host! She spontaneously offered to let me discover her artisanal activity of making breads / doughs made from cereals grown on the spot. Attentive to the needs of its guests. The accommodation (old bakery) is authentic, but well equipped: stones and exposed beams, in the lower room the heating is with a wood stove (magic ^^), the bathroom is modern, and the upstairs / bedroom spirit chalet (electric heating). The setting is relatively isolated, exactly what I was looking for! A beautiful countryside of the Orléans. A beautiful hike to do around the industrial historical heritage is possible. A beautiful and inspiring moment for me. Thanks =)”
The cottage dates from the 1600's and has been recently superbly renovated. This delightful cottage oozes with charm and comfort. The cottage consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge with woodburner. Full kitchen facilities.
“We spent three days in Kerrie & Alain's cottage and really enjoyed our stay. The house is very cosy and well-decorated, and we especially appreciated our nights by the fire. The cottage is located near Domfront, which is a nice place to visit. Last but not least, we'd like to thank our hosts for their kind attentions: the travel cot for our baby, and the Poiré for us!”
