Four miles beyond us takes you to Eveline State Rec Area. The cabin is cozy- monitor heat or the warmth of late day sun through the southwest facing picture windows. A clean composting outhouse completes the rustic atmosphere.

Only twenty minutes to Homer the "Halibut Fishing Capital of the World" or twenty minutes to Ninilchik and less than an hour from the Kenai River. Enjoy the privacy, roast marshmallows over the fire-pit, soak in the hot tub and watch a relaxing sunset. We have two cabins on the property. Please know that there is so much to do and see in the Homer/Kachemak Bay area that 3 nights should always be the preference.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

Small, sunny cottage is comfortable and self contained. It consists of a spacious entry way, a living room with kitchen corner, and a bed/bath room that features a built-in double bed and large shower. Open interior layout (no doors). Sleeps 2.
