There are old houses on the street, but when you enter the house, you will enter another world. It takes 10 minutes to get to Cunda and Sarımsaklı from the back road. There are 4 parking lots around. Climatized with Qubishi air conditioning. Parking close by car on Thursday is possible in the evening, a market is established.

The house is gorgeous and in a calm location. Very spacious with nice and clean bathroom. The bedroom is gorgeous with windows everywhere and nice bed. The living room also. The sea and shops are accessible on foot. Our hosts treated us like family in everything. I highly recommend it!

Bird Bay is more like a small boutique hotel than just an apartment. It is immaculately clean and linens etc are changed regularly. Furnishings are stylish, modern and simple equipped with everything you need. I am quite fussy about beds and pillows but have to say the comfort was second to none!! One of the reasons for choosing Bird Bay was for the sea views but it is not until you arrive that you realise what an incredible view you have, literally breath taking. All rooms have a sea view. The Cafe at Bird Bay serves delicious quality food by the friendliest most accommodating staff you could wish for. Cocktails by the infinity pool at the end of the day was a favourite! The location of B.B. is the best on the island, a twenty minute walk into the town of Petra along the beach is part of its appeal ( although definitely a torch for returning in the dark is a must! ) In the other direction from Petra is a 15 minute walk to the very lovely organised beach of Anaxos with a host of authentic and delicious tavernas to choose from. It does help to have water shoes, as this is a tidal walk to this beach - this was half the fun though for my kids! Lesvos has experienced some major challenges with the refugee crisis and now needs your support to reinvigorate their economy and tourist economy. Lesvos is Greece at its traditional finest!!!
