Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

Oscar and Carlos's place was clean, quiet and comfortable. They were friendly and communicative hosts and made us feel very welcome, and they shared lots of excellent local recommendations for food and attractions. The location is central and easy to get to. Would definitely recommend :)

It was my great good fortune to find this little gem of a place and just as much the host Paloma who together with her husband Gorka went above and beyond that of a host helping out directly to secure advance bus tickets. The location itself being close to two major cities Vitoria Gasteiz and Bilbao is serviced by the said bus so Murgia itself running parallel to the main highway was the ideal spot to base myself whilst attending the Europa League Final. The self contained room itself was fantastic, spotlessly clean throughout with a wonderfully comfy bed to crash out on. If you'd seen the scenes at Bilbao bus station after the match you'd know just how lucky I was to have this 'Home From Home' to come back to. The fully stocked mini fridge was a lovely touch, all there for my personal consumption and partaken of ? .. Yes!!. A great bathroom off the main room gave me the chance to freshen up over my two night stay. Communication with Paloma was brilliant. What a host. Thank You

I had a really good time staying in Bilbao for 4 nights and 5 days..! The accommodation was tidy and the host was so friendly. In the morning, you can also eat toast and drink coffee directly from the moka pot. The bathroom was shared, but there was nothing too uncomfortable. The location of the accommodation is not near tourist attractions such as the city, the Guggenheim Museum, or the old town, but it was not a problem at all to walk around because the subway station was close, and it seems that you don't have to worry about the location because it is actually 3 subway stations away from the city. Rather, it was nice because the accommodation was in a residential area, so I think it was an opportunity to see how the actual residents live. I highly recommend it if you plan to stay in Bilbao for a few days!

Hello, everyone and all!! We just spent a spectacular weekend in Las Merindades, in Raquel's incredible house. First of all, I should point out that it was a surprise getaway for my partner, for her 30th birthday. From the beginning, Raquel was a lovely person, helping me with everything, offering me plans and help with anything that came up. She left us a letter with congratulations included and two chocolate muffins! The house is even better than the photos, the garden is huge, with hammocks, a barbecue, plenty of space for our dog (he had a great vacation), many trees and shade, a porch with an unbeatable table for breakfast and dinner; the house inside is absolutely amazing, impossible not to fall in love, we loved even the smallest detail! I don't want to say goodbye and recommend this house, without first thanking our host and telling you that Raquel is 10/10, her and the stay of course! Don't miss Frías, Puentedey, Tobera and Ruinas de Rioseco!!

Our stay was perfect! The accommodation is very nice, tastefully decorated and fully equipped with everything you might need. Everything was super clean, which made us feel even more comfortable. The host was lovely, very attentive and always available for anything we needed. In addition, the location is excellent, in a super nice area of Getxo, quiet but at the same time close to areas with a very good atmosphere for dinner or a drink. The place is very cozy and we were super comfortable throughout the stay. We would definitely repeat!
