Doukenio-traditional stone house in Chora Amorgos

Doukenio is a traditional stone house that has been renovated in 2016. The building reserves most of its original architectural signs and it has a unique character. In the main building there is a small bedroom with a double bed built next to a stone and the living room with the fully equiped kitchen. Here we have a traditional sofa which can be converted into two single beds with normal mattresses. In the middle of the surrounding yard is situated the shower place (the ruins of an old oven -furnace) with the WC and there is enough space for relaxation outside. The house also has a veranda at the roof (fully equiped for resting) with unique views under the Medieval Castle and the aigian sea further away.

The house is located in the traditional settlement of the port of Katapola, just 100m off the dock and main street of the village. The 120m² autonomous house consists of 3 bedrooms, a living room, a equipped kitchen and a spacious yard, ideal for relaxing moments.The view will satisfy even the most demanding visitor as it combines the port and the mountain. Kiriaki house is located in the most quiet part of Langada, surrounded by native plants and dominated by a big Oak-tree. It’s a typical cycladic house, built with local stone and inspired by the layout of an orthodox church. It has an open plan with a double bed, a living area with a double sofa-bed, a fully equipped kitchen with the dining table and a bathroom. Fishermans Cabin Amorgos

A small private house at the end of the main port of Amorgos island named Katapola. The beach is right in front of the house. As far we can go in time, It was build around 1700s and it was the cabin of my Grand grand grand father who was a fisherman, as was my grand father and my father too. They spend all the time there from April to November and the sea was at the doorstep were they had their boat and their nets. The house was totally renovated at 2012.
