Resort vacation rentals in Ambergris Caye

Although I didn't rent a golf cart and a solo female traveler, I liked the location a few miles south of main San Pedro town. I actually had no issues walking the beach to town whenever I didn't want to pay a cab. Love the individual large casitas, the large pool and sundeck around it, and Toast (the bar restaurant was perfect as well). All the employees were fun and friendly. Several nights a week there are activities at Toast in which a lot of local expats show up like Tuesday night Bingo! Definitely worth it. If I get back to San Pedro will stay here again.

We stayed her for a month and it was absolutely perfect. Great location with a restaurant on site and several other options nearby. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Marcie and Natalie were the best! I highly recommend staying here.

Royal Caribbean is a very nice place to stay. We enjoyed the exclusivity and relaxed feeling.

The location was very good. Just far enough from town to be peaceful but not to far to inconvenience you. A golf cart is a must. You can’t really wslk anywhere. Karen will fix you up with thst.

It’s an Airbnb, but managed by hotel type staff. Able to check in with them, rent a golf cart and purchased water ($5 for 5 gallons). Bar/restaurant on site, nice pool, beach sand was hard, so we didn’t lay on the beach. Overall, great place to stay away from the hustle, but quick to get into town by golf cart.

The staff (Marcy) and manager were amazing, quick with any concerns or questions and they go above and beyond. We had a couple tiny minor things that needed attention and they handled it immediately and never made us feel at all bad for asking. Beautiful cabins, well kept and spacious. Nice to have a mini kitchen. Quiet peaceful area. Although there is no beach or nice swim spot off land here, there was a Great pool and I’m sure the snorkelling was great (we were too lazy) there is one pub quite often busy with wonderful staff and great drinks and pub food. There was not many food options close by, but renting a cart was worth it not only for food but also to see the island, and there are many amazing places to eat! The locals are all kind as well and helpful with advice and directions. Carumba is a must do island favourite restaurant. Might be good to make a reservation. But they tend to you as quick as you can if you don’t have one!!

Alina and the rest of the staff is an absolutely wonderful host! From the moment you arrive, she makes you feel so welcome and at home. Great place to stay. Pretty much everything you need. Great restaurant and bar. Very friendly staff. The location is great with than a 5 minute golf cart ride to the center of San Pedro. Very good supermarket is right next door. The sailing center is right on the property which rents small hobie cats at a reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again.

Our first time visiting San Pedro from Utah, but won’t be our last and we will be coming back to this same resort time after time. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Rob the bartender treated us like family. Not only is he great bartender but also an excellent cook. He ordered us fresh seafood that was delivered to the resorts dock and he grilled it for us on the beach. Glory and Diana were very friendly and helped us book snorkeling tour and were always there if we needed anything. Best hospitality ever.

We LOVED this stay, with the pier for easy pick up for all our excursions to reading our books on in the evening. The pool was a nice addition as well, the grounds are beautiful with the bridge, iguanas, and lots of jungle plants. The security guard (Tony) and dog became our friends quickly and talked to almost every evening. The room was even better than the photos. It all had a very local and home like feel which is why we always come back to Belize 💛

We had a great stay at Bella Vista. They were very responsive and helpful picking us up and getting us to where we needed to be. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly! We would highly recommend!

Great location! Far enough from town to be peaceful but close enough to walk to town. Right on the water with one of the best beaches. Walk in beach (many beaches have a concrete wall and aren't accessible). The people make this place special. So kind, helpful, and positive vibes all around. The hosts make it east to set up activities. The Beach Bar onsite serves decent food and drinks. The accommodations are modest but the location and people make up for this. I would recommend this place to friends and family!

This Airbnb is in a great location. Right on the beach. Has a great restaurant with others close by. We’ve stayed there before and it’s pretty quiet. It’s a hotel so of course you have to deal with some noise from other guests. It’s easy to find and checkin is really easy. It has a coffee maker and a small fridge which is great. There’s a large grocery store next door and a drive thru coffee shop now as well. Housekeeping is done every other day which is nice. They’ll do your laundry but we thought it was a bit pricey. (But then San Pedro is getting more expensive on the whole) If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, out of the busyness of town then I highly recommend staying at Caribbean Villas.

I booked one of the basic rooms but it was good for my needs. I’m only there to sleep and work and it had more than enough space for myself. Wished the room came with a mini fridge if I was to add anything. The location is good because Caye Caulker is small and close to everything. It was nice to have a place with a pool to lounge at. Ramon was responsive. Henry is great and really friendly.

The room was good for the day we were there and we loved the pool with swim up bar since we couldn’t swim in the ocean that day. Also grateful for luggage storage that helped us navigate our departure. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. Though it isn’t located in the exact heart of things, the walk is short and pleasant to get to the busier area. We didn’t need a golf cart since most of the things we did were a short walk away. We’d definitely stay here again!

Stayed at Ramon's spot for our last night in Caye Caulker. Loved the location, spacious room and the very well kept property. Wish we had time to take advantage of the pool and bar area, but it looked amazing!

Tropical Paradise was fantastic. great location, loved the staff, nice accommodation, will definitely return. staff went out of their way when I left something of value there by accident and had it flown to the mainland in time for me to grab it before my flight. y'all are amazing and thanks so much!

This is the perfect stay for people on a budget that still want their own space and a nice pool. The room was clean and all the facilities work well. Ramon and the other staff at Tropical Paradise were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend!

Great communication by the host. The restaurant at the hotel was very good. Bartender at the pool was also great. Everyone was very friendly.
