Quiet accommodation within walking distance to the city center (and train station). There is one large double bed, so the apartment is best suited for one or two guests. The kitchen is fairly new and contains what you need for kitchen utensils and basic items (coffee/tea, oil, salt and pepper). Bathroom with shower, towels, soaps/shampoo and hair dryer. Living room and bedroom are in the same room. We'll make the bed so it's ready when you arrive. Please note that you have to walk down one flight of stairs to get down to the apartment from the front door.

Cozy and spacious house recently upgraded. Quiet location in great surroundings with many opportunities for hiking, outdoor activities, hunting and fishing nearby. The house belongs to older farmland with two homes where one unit is occupied by landlord. Convenient house with good layout. Toilet, kitchen, dining room and living room on the 1st floor. Four bedrooms and bathroom on the 2nd floor. 3 pcs TV and internet. Access to skiing for skiing during winter stays. Good with parking space. In addition, access to cozy seats upon agreement.

New cabin on Savalen, close to the sea and mountains, which is fine for one or two families. The cabin is located about 5 minutes by car from Savalen Fjellhotell and Spa with wellness pool, ski and hill and Santa's house itself. The cabin is also a good starting point for hiking by foot or by skis, biking and horseback riding. The cabin is located just above Savalsjøen where you can paddle, swim and fish. In the cabin you will find some toys for smaller children, cartoons and various board games. Allowed with dog.

Good views, right towards Rondane, good hiking opportunities for both hikes in the mountains, bike rides and runs. Well-marked trails and ski slopes just outside the cabin. In the summer there is a nice sandy beach with possibilities for swimming, if there is bad weather the spa and pool department at Savalen high mountain hotel can be used. Here you can also have a better dinner, or buy an ice cream. Nice alpine slope five minutes by car. Horse center nearby with opportunities for riding lessons and canoeing.

Unique log house with room for 6 people.

Cozy log house with living room, kitchen, shower and two bedrooms. Sleeps 6. Heating with power and firewood. Bed linen is included. The house is located in a small tuna, which is both child-friendly and pet-friendly. Private patio with barbecue and garden furniture. If you do not need as many sleeping places, you can rent one of the other cabins in the yard, Jonsbu or Andersbua, at a more affordable price. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with the forest close by. Glomma flows quietly past.

The house is located on a farm with sheep and dog, next to the house where we live ourselves. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal city centre and there is a short distance to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored oyster valley living room from the 1800s, and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, press pot and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of 300 kr covers only the preparation of the rental unit and not the final cleaning.

Welcome to Storrøsta! This is a refurbished farmhouse, originally built in 1937. It's located off the beaten track in the middle of nature. Storrøsta is a quiet retreat, overlooking the mountains and valley. Enjoy the silence and view at sunset from the patio or the living room - if you're lucky you'll have a moose visiting! The place is also great for kids. There's a trampoline and a slack line available in the summer, as well as outdoor games and bikes free for you to borrow.

A spacious loft area is presented with sloped wooden ceilings and large windows allowing natural light to fill the space. Cozy bean bags and floor cushions are arranged invitingly, alongside a textured area rug, creating a relaxed atmosphere for gatherings or leisure.

A very clean, tidy and neat place. The rooms and especially the common areas are both better and bigger than the pictures give the impression. Only small minus is that the floors, with the exception of the outside, are cold, so slippers or thick socks can be useful on cold days. Definitely recommend for both short and longer stays.

Charming mountain retreat

After 5 km on a difficult path, we discover a small timeless hamlet. We sleep in a beautiful 1800s chalet very well decorated. There is no water or electricity but Natascha had water cans from the well. If you want to go back to the basics, it's a great experience! The view from the cottage is really breathtaking. Natasha is a very welcoming host, she even showed us a lovely walk that she started with us to guide us.

What a lovely cabin to really unwind. We really enjoyed it. Toril was very flexible and could book another night and could pay later. May be worth staying here.

Audun and Siri were very accomodating, for someone seeking timeout away from city life. For a Traveller, the public transportation is limited , but with a bit of planning it's not really a problem
