In addition, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea are within easy reach. Whether Hansa Park, Heide Park or Legoland in Billund, they are always worth a trip from here. In der Shiloh-Ranch ist die Welt zuhause. Wir waren viel unterwegs und haben von überall etwas mitgebracht. Wir sind weltoffen und gastgeberinnenfreundlich. Selbst bei Regen ist es mukkelig im Haus. Und die Gäste genießen das Feuer im Kamin. Hier erleben Sie Erholung pur. Trotzdem können Sie viel unternehmen. Plön, Kiel und Lübeck sind nicht weit. Auch ein See zum Baden und mit Wasserski ist in der Nähe. Ebenso ein Golfplatz und Minigolf. Kleinkunst + Kabarett gibt es im Nachbardorf Lutterbeck.

The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

Idyllic apartment under thatch

Live in the old village school opposite the Feldsteinkirche [fieldstone church]. In recent years, we have lovingly handcrafted a vacation apartment (60 m2) from the former classroom wing of the "Grot School", where the "groten" (big) students had their classroom. A light-flooded large eat-in kitchen forms the center of the stylish apartment. Centrally but rurally located, 15 minutes by car to the Kiel center, 25 minutes to the beach. Paddle on Eider & Westensee, hike in the nature park!

Charming “chapel” in the north German Bullerbü

Our small "chapel" is located on a former farm between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Peacefully nestled between meadows, fields and moors lies our unmistakable "mini-village". We have four families with a total of five children as well as a friendly Hovawart dog, four cats, a rooster and two hens. All two- and four-legged animals run around freely on the property, there are no fences or gates.
