This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. Hytta har spesielt god utsikt mot Lofotveggen, Vestfjorden, Bøsanden, fjellet Mjeldberget og Bøbygda. Engeløya er en perle i den nordlanske kystnatur. Et levende kulturlandskap. Hytta ligger i et av de beste landbruksområdene i Nord-Norge. Veiene og stiene og naturen i fjellene og langs kysten og i bygda her egner seg godt til fine turer. På sykkel og til fots. Eller kajakk. Her er godt grunnlag for naturopplevelser, friluftsliv og avslapping. Velkommen til en fin ferie.

Vi ønsker at alle skal få oppleve naturen så tett på som mulig. Derfor har vi bygget tre små hytter/ hus, med store glassflater overalt, slik at man kan sitte inne og nyte fjellene, horisonten, sjøen , solnedgangene og midnattsolen. Nå er det ikke alltid det sol på øya, så vi har en deilig sofa, som kan bli daybed også, til stunder hvor man vil sitte inne under pleddet, se på regnet og vinden, men likevel får en flott opplevelse av den skiftende naturen.

Oppvasken gjøres på "gammelmåten" i en balje, og vann må hentes fra badet. Ikke wifi eller tv. Finn roen og nyt utsikten. Fine turområder, strand og bålplasser i nærheten. Gjestene vasker selv etter seg, gebyr tilkommer på stedet dersom det ikke blir gjort rent.

There will also be a small boat to use for short trips on the sea.

Nydelig sted på landet i total stillhet. Hester utenfor vinduene og vakker utsikt. Et godt utgangspunkt for å oppleve Steigen. Sunniva var veldig hjelpsom og kjørte meg til Skånland for å gå dronningruta. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Vi ble mottatt av et veldig hyggelig vertskap da vi ankom Kvithuset på Kvalnes. Vi kom inn i et delikat og koselig hus i fantastiske omgivelser og følte oss svært velkomne, noe dialogen i forkant også la til rette for. Alt vi hadde behov for var tenkt på og oppholdet var optimalt på alle måter. Vi kommer veldig gjerne igjen og anbefaler både vertskapet og huset uten betenkeligheter.

Vakre Skrova, noe helt eget. Fantastisk anneks å bo i, har alt som trenges for et godt opphold. Rent, ryddig, god innredning, stille og flott utsikt. Anbefales, her vil jeg gjerne bo igjen.

i, for the first time not alone, travelled to norway with my partner. we have arrived a day late because we took the wrong ferry from bodø. after an one hour walk we found ourself in the beautiful nes in hamarøy. we got provided with food for the first days and throughout our every day's breakfast. the place has everything that got listed and even more. there's a lot do discover and a lot of love in every detail. the view is breathtaking and the hot pot is an experience we didn't missed. even without a car we got bikes and we walked a lot. the tides can be seen and experienced daily almost twice, there's a 24/7 grocery store at skutvik and a lot of peace. we saw animals in their wilderness and learned the sound ouf 'the quiet'. whenever we needed something, john-karstein was here for help immediately. we felt home at every second and in good hands. we usually sleep on hard mattress, the bed was very soft but there are bunk beds with hard ones. 10 out of 10, great place and great host!
