In the middle of the vineyards

In the middle of the vineyards, on the southern slope, with great views of the front Kinzig Valley, our house is in a secluded location. In the basement, at ground level to the garden, there is a cozily furnished apartment, where you can be comfortable in any season and in any weather. The combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom are accessible on around 45 m² barrier-free. Right outside the front door you will find endless hiking trails through the Black Forest.

The "Barn" is is part of an old "forgeron" or blacksmith's property - it has been lovingly renovated to preserve all of it's original charm whilst providing an idillic setting to discover the Alsace wine route. Comprising of 2 generous master bedrooms with en-suite and a large open-plan living / dining and kitchen area on the ground floor leading out onto a wooden deck , perfect for enjoying the Alsace climate and local wine . Our apartment "Mühlenlounge" deserves its name. We live in an old oil mill, a short walk from the attractive city center of Haslach, where the preserved half-timbered framework is impressive. The Mühlenlounge has a loft character and many originals from the time of the oil mill have been preserved. Nevertheless, the state of the art in this apartment is modern, such as TV, kitchen equipment, coffee maker, Wi-Fi, etc.
