Cozy house on the edge of the Gave

ReginaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
What a beautiful mill conversion! It was 5 mins by car to Tardets where you’ll find bars, restaurants, a bakery, a grocery and a butchers shop. You can swim in the river next to the house and there is plenty of space in and around the house to relax in. There was a fig tree growing in the garden and wild strawberries by the back gate. There are some beautiful view points to drive to and walks and Amaia left suggestions about activities to do in the area. There was also a tourist office in Tardets where activities could be booked.. Amaia and her family were there to meet us and always responded quickly to our messages. It was a pleasure to stay here and we will definitely be returning.
A charming stone barn stands amidst lush green hills, featuring a sloped slate roof and large windows. A spacious lawn stretches before the structure, bordered by trees and distant mountains. The peaceful landscape creates a serene countryside setting.

Montory home on top of a hill

JuliaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Christina welcomed us warmly; she showed us around her beautiful home. Our stay went extremely well. The house is spacious, with all necessary amenities. We were also able to enjoy a foosball, billiards; the room for children is very nice with lots of diverse and varied games. The garden is very nice with an amazing view. We really enjoyed the calm, the countryside and the freshness!

The Bee Shed

CameoRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The Bee House was a wonderful base for exploring the Pyrenees! The view from the house is picture-perfect and the house itself is lovely. We appreciated having the laundry available (no dryer, but a drying rack is provided) and the kitchen had all that we needed. A couple of things to know: If you are unfamiliar with the Pyrenees, there is often a drive involved in getting to different hikes and outdoor attractions because they are spread throughout the range. This home is not as close as other options, but every drive is stunningly beautiful and we did not regret our choice in lodging. Also, there is a steep hill to climb up to the cabin. There are wooden ties put in to aid in grip and erosion, but they are not stairs. In addition, the staircase does not have a traditional railing and is open on the outside edge. As with many staircases in Europe, it is more steep than American standards. Just be aware if you book. If you are fit to handle the climbing, this is a wonderful house!

House in the Basque Mountains

Perfect stay in beautiful scenery. We were perfectly hosted by Anne-Marie. The house is located in an extremely quiet and soothing environment. Modern comfort inside with an old and chosen decoration that makes the place even more enjoyable. Beautiful hikes to do near the house. You'll want to go out as much as you'll want to enjoy the inside of this cocoon!
A modern bathroom is featured, highlighting dual sinks set on a wooden vanity. Two round mirrors above the sinks reflect the light-colored, marble-patterned wall. The space is illuminated and includes a window, while wooden flooring adds a natural touch.

Christel was the portrait of hospitality during our stay. She warmly greeted us at check-in and took time to give us local recommendations, provide a tour of the property, and ensure we had everything we needed. The property resembles a small villa and has beautiful views of rolling green hills all around. Overall, we had a wonderful, tranquil stay and would absolutely love to return someday with friends!
An airy living area showcases a spacious dining table surrounded by wooden chairs. A modern kitchen is equipped with a microwave and coffee maker, while a sleek refrigerator is positioned nearby. Exposed wooden beams enhance the ceiling, and light fills the room through large windows.

Cottage in the meadow at the foot of the Pyrenees

ClemenceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great stay at Christian's place, it's amazing! Quiet, with plenty of space and dogs are welcome! I was able to let mine run free, and she took full advantage of the stay. The accommodation is very well-equipped and quite large. Thank you Christian for hosting us, the information and your kindness! The accommodation is close to many hikes that are dog-friendly I really enjoyed this trip because I was able to have peace of mind without noise, in the middle of animals and with a view of the mountains! Thank you Christian for this beautiful accommodation
