House vacation rentals in Alona Beach

The place felt like home. It was really nice. The stay was wonderful. And, the host was helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this place. It is very close to Panglao, too.

Whilst the house sits in a unfinished sub division, we were not disturbed. The house is small for me, I'm a big guy, 6ft and 215lbs, it's ideal for a family of four. Good location, as long as you have a car. Short drives to lot's of attractions and activities for the kids. Great facilities that we used every day, lovely big shared pool, well equipped gym and small playpark that the kids loved. Excellent washer/tumble dryer which meant we didn't come home with suitcases of dirty clothes, a bonus!!

Marc had been most helpful and always responded whenever possible. The pool was a plus point for the kids. Alona beach is a good walk away. Plenty of good food and convenience stores within walking distance. Marc came to check on the pool daily and will clean it if its dirty. It had been a wonderful stay for us and we will surely love to be back here, if the rates are reasonable.

Great place to stay in Panglao. It is a spacious house with everything you need. Kitchen for self-catering, 2 air conditioners, TV with Netflix, good Wi-Fi, hot water in the shower, comfortable patio outside. In a few steps from the house is the restaurant of Sunside resort where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner or just drink something. The nightlife of the island is just 5 minutes by motorbike taxi or 20 minutes walk away. The hosts are very helpful and help with any questions. In my opinion, this is one of the best and cleanest places in the area which you can book on Airbnb. Highly recommended.

We had a really good stay! The host were very helpful and always responsive. The house is so cozy and really recommended for big group. We enjoyed the pool and all the amenities. We will definitely be back to bohol and stay again at JMC6. Kudos to Ate Jovelyn for assisting us during our stay 😊

This place is highly recommended, especially when traveling with a large group. It can accommodate up to 15 people and is fully equipped to support that number comfortably. The property is very clean, spacious, and private, with a pool just a one-minute walk from the clubhouse. If you’ve had your fill of the sea, you can take a refreshing dip there until 10 PM. The staff and owner are very responsive and hands-on from check-in to check-out. Since the property is located within a private subdivision, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You’ll need a private vehicle for transportation and utility runs. If you don’t have one, you can easily contact a local cab for convenience. Overall, it was a wonderful and comfortable stay.

Our stay at Emma & James’ “Unk’s House” in Bohol was absolutely amazing! This 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home was perfect for our family of 12. It’s a hidden gem—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Even with a large group, we never felt crowded. The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet close to the beach and shops. Emma & James were incredibly helpful, assisting with anything we needed and offering great local tips. The staff was courteous and accommodating, even helping our family cook a few dinners. Breakfasts were delicious and a wonderful start to our days. The entire experience felt like a dream getaway. We truly felt at home and so well taken care of. We’re already planning our return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend Unk’s House for families or groups looking for a relaxing, unforgettable stay in Bohol!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The home is beautiful with comfortable beds. The house has a gate and a guard. What really made this place special is the dogs on the property. Girl and Boy are so sweet. Girl would always come outside the gate and stand by us until we got in a tuk tuk. They also have 4 puppies that we would call Angel Baby, Spot, Black tail and Black face. We took care of them and loved them all as if they were our own 😭 we miss all the dogs so much already. Seeing the whole family run to us every time we got back or open the door was the best. I would take them all if I could lol 🐕 Jenny and Queenie were quick to try and fix any issues we had at the house - and were very friendly as well, the aircon stopped working for the last 3 days in master room and was really hot other than that everything was great Thank you for letting my family stay at your home ♥️

Great place to stay, close to everything with friendly cats. We also booked a tour through here (great price) and the diving/snorkeling was the best! We got lucky and saw three sea turtles. The host is incredibly accommodating, loved coming back to a fresh towel and water. Bed was comfy, air con worked great and walkable to everything although we rented a motorbike through here as well to explore. Just what we needed, thank you 🙏🏼

4 people used it for 3 days. The condition of the 4 rooms was the best, and they took good care of them every day. The host and all the staff were friendly, and they took care of our needs right away. The location takes about 5 minutes by tuk-tuk to get to the main street (Alona Beach) from the accommodation, and the cost is P150.If you talk to the reception, we'll call you. There was a burner and sink near the outdoor pool, and there was no sink and burner inside, so it was inconvenient to cook.

The best house we stayed at in Bohol. This is a very modern and minimalist house with great space inside and out. The owners were so communicative and response time was great. They were also very understanding. Even their care taker was such a nice lady. She kept everything neat inside. The place is located on a secluded street away from the nonsense of Alona (wc was what we preferred) and has a walkable beach. Greeneries and sunset were so beautiful and you really have your private space since houses are far apart from each other. The only concerns we had was there were some mosquitoes that were getting in the master’s br and we think it was coming from the drain next to the toilet, also water becomes weak at certain times of the day (7am-2pm) almost everyday and electricity goes out on some days during our entire days, but owners will keep you posted if they get an update. but other than that everything else were great! So good we enjoy the stay

Wi was an amazing host. The best host I ever had. She went above and beyond to make sure mine and my dad’s stay was nothing but the best. She was very responsive and attentive. There was a power outage in the area but wi took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. She even had snacks and ice delivered to us. Also delivered us dinner from her delicious restaurant in the city! If you’re looking for beach front this is not the place but maybe 10-15 mins away from Alona beach which you can take a tuk tuk to. There are also other beaches close by which in my opinion is the best option! There are stores right outside the subdivision which was very convenient. The guards are very helpful.. they will get you a tuk tuk if needed! Also, if you need transportation to the airport a tuk tuk will be able to take you! Me and my dad enjoyed her cute little home we will definitely be back! Thank you, Wi!!!

This Airbnb was perfectly located near Alona. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and outdoor area. The hosts were also very quick to respond to messages.

I had such a nice and peaceful stay here. The surroundings were quiet and the place was perfect for unwinding and disconnecting from the usual daily stress. The house, overall, was clean and the host was accommodating. For me, there were two downsides which were: 1) the WiFi connection—it was quite weak and unreliable and (2) in terms of transportation, if you are only relying on taking tricycles, then you'll really have a hard time. I recommend renting a car/motorcycle (like we did), or having contacts with a tricycle driver so that they'll just fetch you whenever you want to explore the island. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at John's place. John himself was such a gracious host. The space was clean, clutter-free, and complete with amenities to make for a convenient stay (from towels to shampoo and body soap, down to sponge and dishwashing liquid... cooking utensils too). The towels were soft and smelled super clean! A family of 7, we arrived with two cars which we were able to park within the area without encroaching on the road. The kids loved the wifi speed, Smart TV, and... yes, the quiet A/C, and solar power system. We were delighted that the kids' favorite items on our sight-seeing list were within 10 minutes' drive only from the AirBnB: the Bohol Bee Farm Resort, South Farm, and Bohol Ocean Fantasy Show. Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruise, and Mirror of the World were also about 45 minutes to 1 hour away. All extremely easy to locate with Google Maps. Overall, what a memorable stay! We highly recommend John's place for families doing a self-drive DIY tour of Bohol.

We had a wonderful stay! Almira and Ate Lita were incredibly helpful, approachable, and accommodating. They made us feel right at home. The pool was clean and well-maintained—perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Likes: * Extremely fresh and clean place * Very helpful and responsive hosts * Good wifi and smart TV * Bedroom has aircon * Hot/cold water dispenser and fridge * All kitchen utensils, oil and salt provided * Private backyard with gas hob cooker and clothes line *Quiet safe area, small local stores, walkable (or short ride) into town for all amenities Worth noting: The bathroom is reached via the backyard (well-lit). Good shower pressure. Low toilet height and bucket flush might be a challenge for some, worked fine for us. Overall: great for the price, highly recommended.

We took a gamble because the listing was only a month old with only 2 reviews. So glad we did, because it exceeded our expectations. The house is squeaky clean and smells really good. Kitchen is fully equipped too. For people working remotely, the WIFI is extremely fast. There were 4 of us using it at the same time, connecting our laptops for work plus our phones, and we had no issues with speed. Our host Miss Heidi was also very accommodating, we had to attend a Christening the next morning and needed to iron our clothes, contacted her to borrow a flat iron and she provided it. The neighborhood is quite so you can really rest. Location is a bit far from where we needed to go, however, Miss Heidi arranged a ride for our convenience, reasonable price and kind driver too. If you have your own car or motorcycle, this place is perfect for you. Bonus, they have free Netflix for a movie marathon! We had a really great stay. Highly recommend this place. Thanks Miss Heidi.
