Farmstay vacation rentals in Allegheny River

This is an absolutely beautiful location with friendly hosts and a very private, cozy "home for a weekend". We would definitely come back!

This was a wonderful stay for us with our granddaughter and our two large dogs. Our granddaughter was able to pet the horses which she loved and our dogs loved to explore the surroundings on leash but really loved the fenced in field where they were able to run. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped and the scenery was gorgeous. We were there to visit Gettysburg which was only a short drive so we were able to leave the dogs for a while and still go back to walk/feed them and go out again. Steve was very friendly, greeted us when we arrived and was very responsive to our questions.

We absolutely loved staying at this old farmhouse. It was a very comfortable place with unmatched privacy. We cooked steaks of the grill, caught a few fish in the pond, checked out the cows and goats, enjoyed 2 different local icecream shops, and were able to totally relax. Felt like a true get away from the pressure and hustle of life. If we went again the only thing we would do is stay longer.

Great place to stay if you're in the area. we wanted to see the Flight 93 Memorial and this was the perfect stop. It was just over night so we didn't have time for a farm tour but I did see a bison! Roger is friendly and a wonderful host. Having a washer was great since we were on a road trip.

This cabin is beyond beautiful. Very secluded and easy to find. So much charm inside the cabin that you would never want to leave. I spent somedays in my honeymoon in this cabin and it was the perfect choice. So much to enjoy in the outdoors without leaving the property. Everything is thought for that it became joyful to enjoy and discover. It’s a little perfect get way place and I can’t wait to return to it especially around spring. The host is extremely thoughtful and caring throughout my visit and we appreciated their hospitality and respect. Thank you so much Bob & Peg we are grateful!

Genuinely a great place. Me and my family visited here over memorial weekend and had a blast walking down the trails or fishing down at the pond with everyone. Place is very clean and the view is even better in person than in the photos.

Another great stay at the East Sandy Farmhouse. Perfect spot for families wanting to get away from it all and enjoy the great outdoors. You wont find better hosts. We can't wait to go back. 5 stars!!

We had a great stay at Beth’s place for a weekend getaway. The house is perfectly located surrounded by farms, but also surprisingly close to some nice restaurants. There were a lot of activities in the barn/game room that we had a lot of fun. Would definitely stay here again!

We were welcomed with a sweet birthday gift and card! This weekend was filled with lots of events for us. A birthday and a wedding. We used this cute little place for our bridal shower breakfast and got wedding ready. It had everything we needed and we were all comfortable. I highly recommend this location! It’s beautiful!

The apartment was very cute and clean, everything looked brand new! It was very peaceful and my daughter really enjoyed fishing on the lake they have on their property. Timothy and his wife were easy to get a hold of and were very friendly!

It was an awesome place for us to stay while celebrating our Sons wedding at Sana View Farm. So many essentials are already furnished in the cabin. Would definitely recommend and would love to come again in the fall. What a beautiful place on a beautiful setting. Thank you for being such a great Host

Annie's cottage very comfortable for a getaway for people who want to relax and peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. Excellent access to outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing. Annie is a an excellent host and is very responsive.

Beautiful home and farm! You are very lucky if you find this gem. Very clean and nice amenities. Jeanette and Bill are wonderful people and really hospitable. Really appreciated have a cup of coffee and talking with them in the morning. Cant forget the great company Max is when your sitting on the porch!

If you peruse reviews as I do, your most notable finding will be how many people rebook this home like none other I’ve seen. That says volumes. I will certainly rebook this beautiful and peaceful home. Another word you’ll see in the reviews is whimsical. The decor is both tasteful and whimsical, and that is because Lynne is the artist behind all of it. She has a unique gift for creating beauty. Consider it a unique opportunity to stay in Lynne’s place. I derived such a sense of peace and joy sitting on the marvelous front porch, taking in the meadow and the mountains right at my doorstep. In addition, Lynne and Michael are gems. No better hosts. I’m almost hesitant to talk it up too much, because, selfishly, I’d like it to be available next time I decide to visit, lol. You won’t go wrong if you decide to spend anytime here.

The home was beautiful and immaculate! The hosts made us feel very special with deliciously homemade and ample treats left for us, as well as snacks for the deer. The goodies were so very welcomed after a long drive and something you don't find anywhere else. They thought of everything that might be needed by guests, from extra blankets in the living room to a fully supplied kitchen. The decorative quotations on a few walls were inspiring. We loved our visit and hope to return someday. We appreciated their generosity and graciousness.

We had such a great time over Memorial Day weekend with friends! The house looks just like the pictures—super cute, well decorated, and the view of the pond is beautiful. It was peaceful, relaxing, and felt comfortable, like home. Jaime and her husband are awesome—friendly and quick to respond to questions. The place was really well stocked with all the little things you might forget, plus tons of kitchen supplies, towels, and more. We really enjoyed ourselves and are just sad we couldn't stay longer.

Highly recommend for groups! We had a fantastic stay, plenty of space for everyone, comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathrooms, and plenty of extra blankets thank goodness as the weather was cold! Grateful for the full pot coffee maker, fully stocked kitchen, and large refrigerator. If you get a chance to enjoy their dogs in the yard - do so! We loved them!!

We wish we could award this getaway 6 stars! Our expectations were exceeded in every way. Such a beautiful home and setting - a wonderful retreat from "real life." Surrounded by rolling farmland and a quaint creek, we enjoyed many walks on the surrounding streets. The fire pit setup was so lovely and ready to go. The Jacuzzi and ping pong table were huge hits. Comfortably housed our family of 6. Shawn was very responsive and proactive with travel instructions. The house is fully equipped for a vacation and is beautifully decorated and in great shape. You can tell the owners take meticulous care of the house and yard and it really enhanced the stay. We're already looking forward to coming back to Countryside Getaway for our next family vacation! We truly didn't want to leave!
