Within walking distance to historic district and a quaint city center, reminiscent of small town America. Many varied restaurants in all price ranges. Celebrate Orange International Street Fair over Labor Day weekend, visit Chapman University, close to professional stadiums (LA Angel's and Anaheim Ducks), Anaheim Convention Center, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Newport Beach, and Balboa Island. Los Angeles and Hollywood with all their attractions just 35 miles away. Palm Springs is a little over an hour from here and San Diego is usually a three hour drive. John Wayne Airport is about 15 minutes by car, Ontario airport and LAX about an hour away. You'll find a basket of attraction brochures and local restaurant menus in your room. With so much to do and see, you'll have to come back again and again! Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA) bus stops nearby on Tustin Avenue. The train station serving Amtrack and Metrolink, is approximately 1 mile away. Take the train to San Clemente Beach or the mission at San Juan Capistrano for a lovely day trip! Within a mile, or walking distance there are hundreds of restaurants, farm animals, parks, shops, haircut, churches, carwash, rental car, ice cream, and much more! Plenty of free street parking, watch out for the big messy tree and Wednesday street sweeping! We wouldn't want you to look wrinkled during your stay. Treehouse Cottage in Quiet South Pasadena Village

The apartment is very private and is in a free standing building above two garages. It is compact but is pleasantly cozy and has everything that one could need. The entry landing is always awash in morning sunlight and would be the perfect place to drink a morning cuppa and take in some vitamin D rays. The living room is bright and airy, but also the perfect viewing setup for an important ball game or Netflix film. The kitchen is a generous size and is equipped with all the necessities. The bedroom has a super-comfy king sized bed with top notch bedding. And the adjoining bathroom is also spacious with a large walk-in shower and a stack washer/dryer unit in the event you want to do a load of laundry. The apartment is situated at the end of the driveway. The area right in front of the downstairs garages is open for parking your vehicle. The stairs leading up to the unit are just adjacent to the parking area. The neighborhood consists of charismatic turn-of-the-century homes and tree-lined streets. In fact, South Pasadena has been designated as one of America's "Tree Cities". Many shops, restaurants, and fun local events can be easily reached on foot. We are located very close to the Gold Line Metro light rail train. From this station, you can easily can hook up with all other lines through Union Station which is a 17 minute ride away. You can go to Hollywood, Universal City (Universal Studios), Chinatown, Hollywood Bowl, Little Tokyo, Old Town Pasadena and more. And if you don't mind connecting to a bus, you can even get to Disneyland via train and bus easily in 1h15. The LAX airport is also very easily accessed via a direct flyaway bus and Metro light rail. The front door is operated with a digital lock. If guests do not know how to use one of these, they should contact us before their arrival.

Bright Hillside Studio with Leafy Gardens

Brew some coffee and step out into a tiered hillside garden and have a seat on deck patio of this enchanting hideaway. Note: the TV is an Apple TV to be used with your subscriptions. The studio is the entire bottom floor of a 3 story house. It has its own separate access through the garden and is completely private from the rest of the house. A bathroom, kitchenette, dining/study area are included within your studio space. Laundry and Apple TV available upon request. Garden space and access is shared. Enjoy the deck and outdoor dining and lounging facilities as well as a gorgeous sunset view of LA. Bordering the neighborhoods of Eagle Rock and Highland Park, the area has an understated charm and offers an array of vibrant restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Old Town Pasadena, a retail hub with charming eateries, is a short drive away. It is a 0.4 mile distance to the nearest bus stop on La Loma and Figueroa. (about a 10 minute walk from the apartment) The 81 Bus can take you to the Gold Line Metro in Highland Park in less than 15 min. The Gold Line runs between Pasadena and Downtown, where you can transfer to other trains. Please let us know if you would like an Apple TV set up for your arrival or at any point during your stay.

My Cozy Hideaway is close to Eaton Canyon. The name says it all: the studio apartment is nestled beneath a 100-year old pine tree in a quiet neighborhood. If you like succulents, you'll enjoy my gardens. The backyard has a gas barbecue grill and several eating & sitting areas. It is good for couples or business travelers. Couples with an infant or small child are also welcome to book since the daybed is an additional sleeping area. Please tell me if you need the daybed made up for sleeping.

The Craftsman Highland Park Creative Stay.

Stay in my ADU, a historic house with a modern interior. It is a private one-bedroom space with a separate entrance. There is also a horizontal queen-sized Murphy bed in the back of the main room with a privacy curtain for extra guests. Amenities include a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and separate fast wifi.
