We are in a dark sky preserve so star gazing can be added to your list of activities; hiking,fishing,swimming, boating,climbing,kayaking or just relaxing on the veranda with your feet up,watching the boats come in or listening to the loons on the bay.

Mountainview Lodge Caboose/Tiny Home

Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our historic Algoma train Caboose is quite the experience as it's surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. We also offer kayak to rent to explore the river. The top loft of the Caboose is only accessed by a ladder.

Full access to private waterfront yard with a beachy area, fire pit and private dock. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are a must. Bring life jackets for water play and worms for fishing. This 4 bedroom lakeside getaway is furnished for comfort and our goal is to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
