Private Beach house on Lake Superior sandy shores

CourtneyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The bay was one of the few bays that weren't frozen over; while there was still some ice floats, the water was very calm and relaxing and the whole place was very serene. Very few other people were around since it was mid-April and we really enjoyed the quiet of it all. The apple fritters really are delicious, and the other reviews are right to suggest getting all your groceries in Sault Ste. Marie on your way (assuming you're coming from the south). If anyone in your party is tall, be aware the door frames are 6' so anyone taller will have to be careful not to whack their heads. We would love to come back in the summer and use the beach and all the outdoor stuff with the dogs. Can't beat the views from the front windows!

Waterfront farmhouse cottage

JoelRating, 5 stars5 months ago
David was a professional host that provided a spacious and squeaky clean cottage for our family. The space was peaceful for our family of six and we had plenty of room to gather along with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed sightseeing, snowshoeing, and skiing in the region. David also left us an awesome apple pie that was the best I have tasted since my Grandmother's homemade apple pie.

The Sweet Pea

CathieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The pictures did not do The Sweet Pea justice! As soon as we walked in we were so in love. It was quiet, peaceful, beautiful surroundings. It was clean and tidy and had everything you needed for your time away. When we needed Matthew’s help his response was quick and very helpful. We are hoping to return this summer I would highly recommend The Sweet Pea!

Bring The Family! Lakefront Superior Duplex up to8

Overall the dealing and interaction with Billie was amazing. Words cannot express. You have to experience it. We will be going back for sure. Everything was as per our expectations and more. Billie was very responsive and proactive at the same time made us feel at home away from home. In short we will recommend this cottage to our friends and family.
A spacious backyard is visible, leading down wooden steps towards a tranquil waterfront. The grassy area is dotted with seating arrangements, including chairs arranged around a fire pit. Trees provide shade, and a flag can be seen fluttering gently in the breeze.

It’s so comfortable to just laze around! The natural beauty is just wonderful to just sit and watch all the animals and get back into nature. Make you forget all your worries and cares! I highly recommend this place for anyone, there is so much room for guests. I can’t say enough about it, I love it so much. Tamara has done a great job. Well done.💜⭐️

Charming lakefront cottage that sleeps 12

NicoleRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a great time! It was so peaceful on the water and sitting on the back deck with coffee and a book was a great way to recharge! The house was homey and comfortable, our kids played the video games provided and we all played lots of board games! We did have to use the coordinates to find it since our GPS got us close but not quite there but once we typed in the coordinates, it took us right to it. We look forward to coming back another time!

Lake Superior Chippewa Retreat, Batchawana Bay

KatyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had the most wonderful stay here. We’ve tried renting lots of cabins throughout Algoma and Olli and Mia’s Chippewa retreat is by far our favourite. Lots to do nearby, great fishing, kayaks and canoe were lovely amenities. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. The cottage is gorgeous and so comfy it was actually nice to have a rainy day to have an excuse to spend more time inside. We can’t wait to return!

Hemlock Cabin: family friendly winter cabin

MikeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We can’t say enough about Northern Skies. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. Robin and Fred were so helpful and perfect hosts. We never felt like we were inconveniencing them. The cabins were so nice and well equipped. Check in was very welcoming and the quick tour as we arrived was so nice. It helped to navigate the property and cabin. We will be returning next year, maybe even again this winter!

Waterfront Cottage

SamanthaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Our family was here for a few days on our road trip. It’s definitely a more rustic cabin. But has amazing views and we definitely enjoyed kayaking and the beach. One thing that I didn’t realize before booking is this house is on land where other family is. We didn’t run into anyone (other than the step dad showing us around when we got there) but I feel it’s worth noting. The beach is on their property too. The house also had a lot of family photos and personal belongings. Which made it almost feel like you were staying in someone’s house. All and all, it was a good stay, just feel like these would be things that people may want to know.

Awesome location, and awesome property! The home is well stocked and actually has good cutlery so you can actually prepare decent meals here! So many air bnbs lack that, but not this one! Most basics for cooking were also stocked and there were afew condiments in the fridge. The sauna is top notch, and probably my favorite part of the trip.

Cabin on McCarrels Lake

HenryRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The cottage was just the quick, quiet and peaceful getaway I was looking for. The place was simple and comfortable for one person, with room for more, right on the water and offered an expansive lake with two additional connecting lakes you could kayak to. It was great to take a long swim and nestle back in the cottage with my coffee. My favorite part was waking up to views of the water with birds chirping and sipping coffee. It’s a great place for getting away to write, escape daily life and avoid holiday crowds. Lois was very responsive and we were able to meet and connect on our passion for Hawaii. She provided some nice perks like local coffee and bottled water stocked in the fridge. I hope to be a return visitor to this little gem. Thanks for everything, Lois!

Rock Candy Cabin: Northern Haven on a Lake

AmandaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Our family had a wonderful stay at the guest cabin. The cabin is exactly as pictured. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, lake was beautiful and very quiet. I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member. Sanda was very kind and helpful. She knew we were coming with a baby and she purchased a pack and play as well as a waterproof cover and sheets to go with it. We appreciated that so much! There is also a baby gate and toddler toys if needed. My son and I also had some fun working on a puzzle in between playing at the lake. The game and puzzle shelf were stocked with well. Sanda also had a guest book where she has recommendations for hiking, restaurants, and other sight seeing. We will definitely be back! Thank you Sanda and family for sharing your beautiful cabin with us :)
