Our cottage is across the street from the South shore of Munising Bay, next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with Lake Superior kayaking, biking, hiking, ORV and snowmobile trails, and multiple waterfalls nearby. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the font door. A public fishing pier is across the street at the mouth of the Anna River. Close to restaurants, the beach, and fishing. Great base camp for Ice fishing on Lake Superior right across the street. Sorry no pets!

Our cozy mini cabin is suited with 1 private bedroom, a bunk bed in common area and small loft that features a twin. This cabin has a fire pit out back and anything you might need for your stay. We are located 750 feet across from the public beach access and 1 mile west from a public boat launch, also only 15 miles from Pictured Rocks. We are nestled into the Hiawatha National Forest, so please feel free to get out and explore the large backyard. Pets are welcome and encouraged.

The unit was big and clean and was nice to relax in. The cafe below has great food and is quite entertaining, and the people are all so friendly. It is the perfect home base for UP adventures!

We had an amazing visit at Rich’s place. It was perfect for our first time in the upper peninsula of MI. The location was perfect for all that we wanted to do. It was great being so close to beach, Munising, Pictured Rock National Lakeshore and amazing views of Lake Superior. After a long day exploring in the cool weather it was great coming back to a warm place that had a nice fireplace going. We definitely have a lot more to still explore and hope to be back! Highly recommend this great, convenient and comfortable spot!

We stayed for a quick weekend and had a phenomenal time. It was a great place to rest after hiking throughout the day and it was wonderful to be able to walk around downtown without having to drive! Would definitely come again!

Ken and Theresa were lovely hosts - we felt right at home. The pontoon boat and kayaks were a lot of fun! We also had a rainy day and the space was super cozy for a movie night and the pool table was a big plus. The welcome basket was also super thoughtful

We enjoyed our time in the north woods. Beautiful views from the decks. The house was well kept, very comfortable accommodations, and well stocked with pots/pans/utensils, as we prepared all our own meals. Did not use grill, but propane was available. Wifi met everyone's needs. Would stay again.

We had a great stay in AuTrain on our last night the water went out but they brought us over water for toilets and took care of us regardless. Enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay! There was plenty of room for our family and you could not beat the location. The kitchen was fully stocked which enable us to host a few large family meals. We definitely be renting this property again!

Beautiful home away from home. The sauna was our favorite with the views from inside. We truly enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you might need for cooking a good home cooked meal. Local restaurants were great. Lots of adventures all around you here. Thank you for your hospitality.
