Julie’s place is lovely! Rustic in a beautiful way, up in the mountains and close to the land. Being an eco lodge, it’s solar-powered with some constraints around energy use in the evenings, but this wasn’t an inconvenience for us, even as a group of 8 squeezing in. The outdoor area in particular is special - with a large dining table, grilling area, pool, and sports area, all with spectacular views of the surroundings. Julie is a wonderful host, incredibly kind, communicative and accommodating. If you stay at her place you’ll be in great hands

Every detail of the space is infused with love and intention: the cozy casita, the breathtaking views, and the warmth of their hospitality. The privacy was incredible—I had time and space to truly disconnect and recharge. The breakfasts were a definite highlight—different each day, featuring Chris’s incredible homemade bread and Merith’s thoughtful touches. I also treated myself to dinner and a massage, both of which I highly recommend. Everything at their place reflects a sense of ease and beauty. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience of connection: with nature, with yourself, and with two genuinely wonderful humans. Thank you, Merith and Chris, for creating this space and sharing it so generously. I left feeling lighter and deeply grateful.

We spent a month at Lola's house and eventually got into the rhythm of the village. The house is right in the heart of Comares, right next to the supermarket and within 2 minutes walking distance of everything else. We went for walks in the valley, had lunch at Pepa and slept heavily at nights. Here you will find everything you could want to feel at home. Lola is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and always responds quickly to message. We would gladly came back! Thank you for this time.

This tiny house is wonderful. Fun decorating and thoughtfully equipped. There were fresh oranges, butter, jam and condiments. Estelle event left chocolates and there was fresh bread hanging on our door in the morning. Really lovely.
