Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

The home was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were huge and everything was so clean and luxurious. We were so pleased to stay here; it was a huge upgrade from a hotel.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. We were not able to stay on our dates as our daughter woke up extremely sick. I called Randy and he was willing to move the dates for a future date. I really appreciate him working with us and was unfortunate we had to cancel the morning of. We look forward to staying there soon.

Skylar’s place was just what I needed for my stay. As soon as I walked in, I was shocked at how big the space actually was. The bathroom was bigger than I expected and all the amenities were truly useful. Had a great stay at Skylar’s, will definitely be staying again.

everything was exactly as described! easy to check in, easy to find and very clean and comfortable. it was in a very private place. super cute on the inside, too!

What a lovely Airbnb ! John was an excellent host! His wife made a Banana Nut loaf bread for our arrival. And it was delicious! John shared some fresh eggs from their chickens and my husband devoured them!! The unit is neat, modern and clean! There is everything one needs in the kitchen and bathroom from towels , linens , shampoo and soap . A great big living room TV to watch movies on and a bedroom TV . The leather couch and chairs are comfy. The bed was extremely comfortable and I am fussy as I have several chronic back issues . I was relieved and delighted!! Alot of thought and care goes into this downstairs basement apt . This location is convenient to several key cities and towns. It is roughly 75 miles from Ashville, Hickory is only a few miles. Blowing Rock , N.C. is about 30-35 miles . ( a must !! ) An excellent restaurant in town is owned by a family member and does not disappoint! Highlands Butchery . We would stay again when traveling or visting Valdese area.

I am a travel nurse working a long contract and have stayed here for several months. Patsy and her husband are great hosts, super friendly, easy to contact with a quick response, and always willing to help with anything as I also work long overnight shifts. It is a very quiet location and very convenient to work. There are a lot of things to do and see not far away in surrounding towns. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

Perfect place for my family and I to stay to visit my sister and her family. Very clean house comfortable beds and a great kitchen. Will definitely stay here again when I come to visit my sister.

I have stayed in a significant number of AirBnB properties and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this one! It is beautifully decorated, comfy, and quiet. Thank you for including things that most properties don’t include such as food wrap, plastic containers, tape, and scissors! I can tell that the owners are detail oriented! The coffee station is great! I loved the cookbooks! I will be back!

This home is one of the best we have ever stayed at. It is beautiful, well appointed and perfect in every way. So quiet and peaceful yet close to shopping and great restaurants. Easy ride to Blowing Rock and Boone. Sit on the back porch for morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise and the front porch for evening sunsets. We appreciate Amanda sharing her home. It was the perfect setting for our family visit. We will be booking this home again when we are in the Hickory area. Thank you Amanda for your hospitality.

The house was very cozy, and well appointed. We had everything we could need. It was just a few minute drive to Emerald Hollow Mine. Because we have young children we had to be aware of how close the house was to the road and how fast the cars drive by. Overall it was perfect place to break up a long drive down I77.

Great vacation rental, perfect for a mountain vacation. Amazing Views and location!

Initially, we were disappointed that the two single beds were in the living room (my fault for not reading the description carefully) and that we'd have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, but by the second night, we were used to it. We loved having breakfast on the patio. It was so quiet and peaceful, and the view was delightful. Being able to partake in the Art of Living grounds was a definite plus. The trails were fun, and the view from the dining hall was stunning. We enjoyed our visit.

Nice place, beautiful view, stunning sunrise. Super convenient to the dining hall and meditation hall for retreats.
