Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Alexander City

We will definitely be back!! This was such a fun weekend getaway and loved that the social was in walking distance, the host were very responsive when I had questions! Check in and check out process was very easy!

What a fun time at the lake! It was just like the pictures and had tons of amenities – ping-pong, cornhole, kayaks (and lifejackets), floating pad, rocking chairs, and much more! We loved sitting on the porch at all times of day, swimming in the lake and lounging on the dock. We even made s’mores by the fire one night! The house comfortably fit a large family and Grandparents. The walk down to the lake was a little steep but easily accessible with the stone pathway. Overall, it was a great time. Thanks so much for hosting us!! PS because I always want to know, the coffee maker had a space for regular grounds as well as K cups.

My family stayed for a graduation weekend and to celebrate Mother's Day. The place was very well equipped and met everyone's needs perfectly. We enjoyed the porch, even with two pretty rainy days. The wind and rain were actually relaxing! The beds were very comfortable, and the sofa was also very comfortable, large, and deep enough for a great nap or to spend the night on. We enjoyed this stay as mach as we have any Airbnb trip. Highly recommend for a great stay!

The PERECT lake house Five stars across the board. The house is immaculate and the kitchen is very well stocked . Plenty of room for everyone and the decks are so spacious with plenty of seating. Fabulous hot tub and downstairs game area . But the best thing of all was the docks and areas at the water. We will definitely be back .

This was a great spot for our family to stay. I had my daughter and my (older) father with me. My father has difficulty with steps, so the fact that the home has a no-steps entry was really helpful. When we arrived, the wifi router for the home had apparently rebooted so the wifi-enabled lock was not working. But Hunter was immediately responsive and we were able to get in and out of the house during our stay with no problem. The house is clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We had no complaints and enjoyed the house very much. We were in Auburn for an equestrian camp that my daughter was participating, and this location was really convenient for getting back and forth to the university's equestrian facility on Wire Road. It was a great stay. We would definitely stay again.

Mandi’s home was a great place for a little country retreat. The home was spotless, and everything was very comfortable. There are some extra rules - no alcohol or smoking - but in return for respecting the home you get nice materials. All the linens were great quality and the bedding was super comfortable. Mandi was very responsive leading up to the stay and made everything super smooth for us. Overall, loved staying here. We could tell Mandi takes pride in hosting and we felt that hospitality during our stay.

Great family gathering space! Multiple decks, large table inside, plenty of seating. Kitchen well appointed, even two coffee makers!

Amazing! Incredible! Fabulous! Peaceful! Even with the rain, we were overjoyed with this beautiful lake location! Celebrating our daughter’s Auburn Pharmacy graduation, we wanted to make sure we had a special place and this checked every single box! This is my first AirBNB in my the Auburn area, since we usually stay with the daughter, but oh my goodness! Incredible! I was worried about being too far away, but I shouldn’t have worried one bit! Take your firewood, food, and folding chairs. Everything else is at the house! The mattresses and pillows are so comfy, the lake is stunning, and the house is perfect! Next time, we will rent a boat. Also, take your floats for the lake since we could have thrown them out at the pier.

Can’t say enough good things about this stay, and this host. The responsive nature accommodating our needs, feeling right at home when you walked in, along with the friendly neighbors and all around well maintained property. We like trying different bnb’s around lake Martin but the Daine lodge may have just made a regular out of us.

A very nice, comfortable and quiet escape from the busyness of graduation weekend. We were there to help move my son out of his freshman dorm and into a new apartment and even though Lake Martin is 40 mins from Auburn, the quiet and relaxing atmosphere made it a super place to stay. Minor things like a couple of Kurig pods for when you first get there and perhaps a couple more bath towels would have been welcome. Overall highly recommended for a condo on Lake Martin

This is at least my third stay in ‘Rita’s Room’, my nickname for this little piece of paradise. She & Ben make us feel right at home! The space is great& the lake view is beautiful.

Perfect place for a family!!! You can view the pool and the lake beach from the balcony. The marina is very close (4 mins) and boat slips right outside if you’re bringing a boat. Also, a boat service (paid) to help Dad get to/from if mom has the kids. But, you don’t need a boat to have fun here! The pool and the lake with the little beach is just perfect. There are grills and an outside entertainment space if you don’t want to fight restaurant crowds. Also- everyone (including the host) in the area was extremely nice and helpful! That is not always the case in residential areas with airbnbs. I would absolutely recommend this for a family getaway!

What a beautiful property! We were in town for a family wedding in Waverly and The Hive was a very easy commute. We also enjoyed checking out the Auburn University Campus which was near by. Mark was a great host - he quickly responded to a question I had while visiting and had clear instructions as to the location and check-in / check-out process. The home is spacious and more importantly CLEAN! Thank you Mark for the eggs from your chickens - our family members certainly enjoyed them! We give The Hive 5 out of 5 stars!

Although our stay was short, we really enjoyed this Airbnb. It was clean, comfortable and just as described. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating to our all needs and questions. I highly recommend!

We would definitely stay here next time we go back to Alexander City. The house is amazing and comfy, very spacious and clean. The area is very quiet and peaceful, we really had a great time there. Jayden was responsive to the messages, he’s very quick to reply, his check-in time definitely works for us, since most houses have a very late check-in time. To those looking for a house to stay at in this area, I highly recommend, house is amazing and the owner Jayden is a great guy.

This area was a lovely surprise. Although you are not lake front, the D.A.R.E. Power Park with its beach and boat launch areas was less than 2 miles away. The cabin has all of the basics we needed to cook in and spend time together—which was our main objective. Opelika is not far away and (if you get storms, as we did) it has cute shops, breweries, and good food. It was easy to check in and out. Quiet area with nice people.

Ray was a great host. It was a very nice, very private location. It was a perfect place for me and my wife for our anniversary. We would definitely recommend them.

My family and I stayed here at the start of summer to get a little bit of down time before everyone is doing different things. Upon arriving, the house far exceeded expectations. It is RIGHT on the water. The view is absolutely incredible. The deck is huge and perfect for coffee or just sitting to enjoy the view. The dock and water is very accessible and easy to walk to. The house sits on a cove off of the main channel, which makes it perfect for swimming, but there is no sacrificing the view!! If I could buy a lake house, this would be it! The indoor furnishings were clearly designed with intention and function in mind. Such a great experience. We will be back!
