What a place! Words won’t be able to describe how beautiful and stunning the place is. Peder himself is a gold man, nothing is too much trouble for him and his wife. Could not recommend it more. Simply stunning.

Cute, small little room for a good price. The only issue I had was the skylight cover and shades weren't all that good. If you come during the summer when it's light very early and late, I'd recommend bringing an eye cover.

Excellent home in a very quiet location. We enjoyed the amenities and the only thing I would change is to have an instruction guide to the stove and electronics in English. Thanks for a great stay!

very nice apartment, quietly located about 10 km from Alesund. Parking at the building and especially the view of the fjord was fantastic.

Everything is great. Accommodation very modern and clean. Very spacious rooms. Boat top for fishing for three. Trine was also super nice and was quick to respond to questions.

Lovely, bright, new, clean apartment with short walk to the city center. Amazing host Silje, responsive, kind, helpful and she went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed and to make our stay as pleasant as possible although some things are sometimes out of our hands. Anne-Marie's hut with a view of the fjord leaves nothing to be desired. The furnishings are lovely and beautiful; everything you need for a stay with four people is there. The terrace with various seating options offers a wonderful view. Communication was problem-free and Anne-Marie was very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend a stay in the accommodation.

We loved Villa Karibu on Store Kalvoy. The location is quiet and beautiful and the house spacious and well equipped. Alesund is easily accessible by ferry and we also liked it very much if you want to come from the island. Clear recommendation!

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

We loved our stay here!!! The place was as described and more ♥️ ! You don’t need to go anywhere else, just enjoy the house and the view. Thea is a great host! There were clear instructions and prompt response from her. She was very helpful as well with my queries. If you get a chance to book this place, please don’t miss out!

Beautiful location right on the sea

We loved our stay at Yvonne's home. It was a beautiful house with an amazing view. Yvonne and her husband, Sverre, were great hosts and extremely responsive. The location was great with easy access to groceries, restaurants, hiking, and fjords. We had a wonderful time.
