Gaze out across the city from this tastefully designed home. The residence features stark whites, light wood flooring throughout, chic furnishings, an open-plan layout living area, and stairs up to the loft bedroom. The apartment building does not have an elevator. This lovely duplex is located on the third floor of a newly renovated century-old traditional Lisbon apartment building. The bottom floor of the apartment has two bedrooms (one of which has a lovely balcony), a bathroom and open kitchen and living room. The top floor has a second bathroom, living room (that can be used as a 3rd bedroom) with sofa bed and access to the apartment's pièce de résistance, its rooftop terrace. There is air conditioning in every room so that you can enjoy your stay year-round, without fear of the weather. All throughout the apartment, there is plenty of natural light and large double-paned windows that provide picturesque views of the city below. The kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances, including stove, oven, microwave oven, dish washer, refrigerator/freezer combo, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, as well as all the pots and pans, utensils, silverware and plates for your meals. Additionally, the apartment has a washer, iron and ironing board. We provide fresh towels and bed linen, so there is no need to bring your own. In the living room area, sit back and relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy the large-screen 42 inch LED television, with cable. Each of the bathrooms features a spacious walk-in shower with large rainfall shower head. A baby crib and highchair are available upon request. Guests have access to the entire apartment and are encouraged to use the cable TV, 100 Mbps Internet with wireless access and especially, the rooftop terrace. We hope that you fall in love with our beloved city and we're happy to answer any questions you may have in advance of your stay to help you plan your trip. A host will be present to greet you and give you a tour of the apartment when you arrive. The apartment is located in the traditional neighborhood of Arroios and just off the Arroios Market. The local bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and shops of Rua Morais Soares are all very close by, while Largo do Intendente, is a 10 minute walk away. The Arroios subway station (green line) is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment, whereas both the Alameda subway station (red line) and Anjos subway station (green line) are each a single hop away (or each a mere 750m walking distance) from the apartment. Besides the subway, there are plenty of bus stops nearby that provide transportation to various parts of Lisbon. The building does not have an elevator, so please be prepared to make the climb to the 3rd floor.

Former fishing house on two floors with private courtyard. Architectural highlights in Moroccan style. Located in the beautiful old town center of Salema. The excellent beach is less than a one minute walk away. From the entrance you can access the open kitchen, living and dining area overlooking the oasis-like courtyard, which is attractively decorated with high-quality stone work. A small decorative pool (not for swimming) completes the cozy ambience. With a book in hand and feet in the cold water basin, you can relax and recharge your batteries on hot summer days. The bathroom with double shower and shower toilet is located on the first floor of the house. The two open bedrooms upstairs are each equipped with a queen-size bed under the cozy sloping ceiling. Each bedroom has direct access to the sun terrace with lounge furniture. A great night's sleep. You can hear the wind in the palm trees and the surf in the distance. Guests have access to all areas, as they rent the entire house. For all questions, we are reachable (mail and telephone) and have people on site who can look after the house and be helpful. Within 100 meters there are restaurants, bars, shops, rental of kayaks and paddle boarding and freshly caught fish are sold. Salema is a charming fishing village. From the beach, excursions by boat are offered. In the hinterland, the Monchique mountain range beckons with healing springs.
