Vacation rentals with a pool in Alentejo

Excellent stay! The house is very nice, even better than the pictures show. Pedro and his father, Mr. Manuel, are very friendly and very attentive hosts. Mr. Manuel, who welcomed us and even left us a wonderful bread for breakfast the next morning. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful place, fully equipped with everything we need. Comfortable beds. All windows have mosquito nets and shutters. extreme heat weekend, it was always cool. During the day, the outdoor space by the pool with lounge chairs, a hat and a pergola area for meals is perfect. In the morning and evening (with a citronella candle and some repellent) the floral pergola area in front of the house was all we needed to enjoy the weekend. It is 40 minutes from the beaches of Melides, Aberta Nova, Pego and Carvalhal, and 10 minutes from Alcácer do Sal, where there is everything we need, restaurants and supermarkets.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. really great communication from start to finish. Accommodation very clean and walkable to Moura which is a beautiful town. Also close to the river beaches which was recommended by Joaquim and I would also recommend. Also, special mention to Joaquim and his wife for coming to our aid when we got a flat tyre as we left the town. They immediately reassured us with kind words and called someone to come to assist us at the side of the road. They helped us despite being out of the town and on holiday themselves!! Cannot thank them enough. So kind and helpful people. Very organised and have good instructions and recommendations of the area, thanks again

Everything was great, we had a really nice and peaceful stay. There seems to be a quarry not far and it made some noise but not too much. And in the evening there was an event nearby with loud music that was a bit disturbing. I don’t know if it’s a regular thing.

We had a good time at Joanna's place. There was a great view, the location was great with beautiful beaches nearby. The accommodation and furnishings are quite simple, but the overall concept was very harmonious. We particularly liked the terrace with a small pool and direct access from the almost fully glazed living room.

Beautiful property, we didn’t even leave the place. Very well equipped, nice and clean pool, the view is wonderful.

if you don't like: the birds chirping, the sound of sheep bells in the distance, bathe in a 15x5 pool for two in a green setting, not to mention the exciting discussions on history, geography, local crafts with Carlos... then go on your way!

We weren’t disappointed when we walked through the door, stunning! The views of the river and marina are next to none, loved watching the little egret, storks, grey heron and even a blue heron! Miguel and Liv were attentive, making sure we had settled. The marina is full of fish and so clean. Very easy walking distance to fab restaurants and old town. We will definitely return. :)

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Super cozy, clean, and well kept apartment! Great proximity to beaches and sites. They do a great job communicating and making sure you have everything you need. Parking can be tough to find at night as it is a busy apartment complex, but not the host’s fault at all and we still had a great stay!

Natacha’s apartment was a wonderful base for our time in Lisbon. The apartment is so well stocked - we travelled with our 15m old and there was a high chair, baby bath and even cutlery for her. The flat itself was clean and tidy, very comfortable and we found it quiet even though there were some building works going on across the street. The pool area was absolutely fantastic and an extra bonus was the underground parking. Would recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon, especially those with children. Thanks Natacha for being so kind and helpful during our stay!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the beauty of the view and the location above Dona Ana beach and being close to the boardwalk to ponte da Piedade. You are also close to old town Lagos for restaurants, as well as to the marina. Joanna was very helpful and responsive and the condo was well equipped, with beautiful dishes and everything you need if you wish to cook.

Well-kept and clean accommodation, a 15-minute walk from the center and the nearest beach, well organized and easy to access. I highly recommend it!

Our stay was excellent!! Ricardo and his family are very friendly, the space and the accommodation on the bus were fantastic. We had everything we needed to cook. There's a lot more to tell, but future guests will have to discover it! This experience on the bus is really worth it.

We loved this beautiful, spacious house. The private pool is amazing and the house has everything you need, including a baby high chair and a crib. The kitchen is really well-furbished! It was perfect for our family. It's just a few minutes walk to a gorgeous beach and lovely seafood restaurants, but super quiet. The only thing that was missing was a way to lock the door to the pool. It would have made us feel safer to know that the kids can't get out to the pool on their own.

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! This is the first Air BnB I have stayed in where the rooms are even nicer than the pics! We stayed here with our adult children for 8 days and absolutely loved it! The property is nicer than some 5 star resorts we have stayed in. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet! Rui and Teresa greeted us upon arrival and were responsive anytime we had questions. There were restaurants within walking distance but also Ubers and Bolts were plentiful and inexpensive. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Rui and Teresa!

We had a fabulous time at José's place. He was there with a warm welcome when we arrived, showed us around and explained everything. He was extremely responsive when we sent messages and had questions. Nothing was too much trouble for him to ensure we were happy and had a great time. The house is a quaint little house from the 1930s that has been renovated to bring in modern comforts, but still retaining charming details like the original floor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for all the cooking and BBQing we did. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

Incredible stay in this beautiful villa hosted by Wilson. We had such an amazing time! The view is simply magnificent, there is plenty of room and seating areas to enjoy it every minute of the day. We had the pool heated and it was totally worth it. Note if you are travelling with kids, there is a small separated part of the pool that is PERFECT for toddlers. Wilson was such a great host, starting from the Booking. He gave us plenty of suggestions and tips to make the most out of our stay and he welcomed us with a welcome basket which was much appreciated as we just arrived from our night flight. Everything was super clean and there was even everything you need to enjoy the pool and the beach with kids. Don’t look further, if you have a car, this villa is the best base to explore the Algarve. We would happily come back!

Absolutely idyllic! Our stay at this Airbnb was perfect, especially with our 1-year-old. The host thoughtfully provided so many essentials, including a high chair, cot, and even a baby bath, which made our trip incredibly easy and comfortable. The place itself is just beautiful. We loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The grassy area was fantastic, and the pool was surprisingly bigger than we anticipated, offering plenty of space to relax. With loungers available both upstairs and down, there were always comfortable spots to unwind. Having a car was definitely a bonus for exploring, as everything we needed was literally just 5 to 10 minutes away. While you could walk to some places, a car made getting around super convenient. It was also very easy to get to from Faro Airport. We couldn't have asked for a better, more relaxing, and truly idyllic getaway!

We stayed here as a family with my mother and father in law also. So much of space for the 6 of us. The games room was a great place to spend the evenings playing pool and darts. The swimming pool and outdoor space was fabulous. The kids were rarely out of the pool and loved the paddle board that was available for them to uses. Kids also loved picking grapefruits for breakfast and lemons for our drinks. Slightly issue with one of the toilets being out of order and the water going off (due to nearby construction) but host had forewarned us this may occur. We had a lovely family holiday.
