The historic stone building features intricate architectural details, including ornate carvings and a large window. A broad staircase leads to the main entrance, framed by gothic-style elements and sculptures. The weathered stone conveys a sense of lasting history.

Quinta do Pina - apartment

MurielleRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a great time at Clarinda's place. The rental is as described. Even though the owners only spoke Portuguese, they did everything possible to facilitate our exchanges. Parking is easy and totally secure, we were able to fully enjoy the outdoors of the apartment and a small nearby river allows you to cool off. We would totally recommend this rental.

A characterful stone street is framed by traditional houses with tiled roofs. A donkey, harnessed to a wooden cart, stands beside a person. In the background, a historic tower rises, surrounded by cobbled pathways, reflecting the rustic charm of the village.

Casa Aldeia da Serra - Serra da Estrela Mountains

It's really worth it, 1000/10. The price is super affordable, easy parking, nice neighborhood, supermarkets 2 km away. Idalécio is super nice, he recommended places to see and eat cheaply and well.

Quintinha Viçosa - Wine Cellar House

PeterRating, 5 stars12 months ago
The property is located together with a neighboring building on a small road that leads to the mountains and as a shortcut to the main road about 600 m further above. Despite the window open, this was not very disruptive. The apartment is on two levels in the basement. In front of the front door is a small private yard with barbecue and seating/table. The car can be parked on the property ( above the small courtyard). The pool is accessible at all times, was already warm (but not heated), is very large and was very clean. There are loungers by the pool and you have a great view. Small supermarket in the village (very friendly owner!) and some places nearby.

Village House

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved it here! Rosa and Joao made us feel like family. Rosa is incredibly knowledgeable of the Village and the surrounding areas. The animals are friendly, you can walk through the areas without fear. The goats, Lemon (the donkey), Boss the puppy and so much more. Rosa should be the Mayor, she knows everyone and her friendly personality makes the entire Village glow. We were introduced to all the friendly people of the Aldeia Fuinhas. Rosa shared her knowledge of the cheese making process, I have new cheese making skills. The hostess with the mostest provided good wine, tasty orange cake, plenty of good herbal teas, the garden is bright and well maintained. I had a refreshing dip in the super clean pool on a hot day. Casa da Aldeia is a magical place for all ages to enjoy the surroundings and the Animals. You can find Joao or their friendly neighbor Joaquin milking the goats twice daily. You will love to see this fresh milk production; say cheese. We will see you again Rosa & Joao
